Speaking at the U.S. Institute for Peace during a visit to Washington, Yermak said failure by Congress to approve more aid to Ukraine could make it “impossible” to liberate more territory captured by Russia and “give the big risk to lose this war.”


“If the help which [is] now debating in Congress will be just postponed ... it gives the big risk that we can be in same position [where] we’re located now,” Yermak said, speaking in English.

“That is why it is extremely critically important that this support will be voted and will be voted as soon as possible,” he said.

What’s the point ? Ukraine will lose anyway - it’s just a matter of time - Russia produces more weapons than the West can give Ukraine, Russia has way more people to mobilize, Russian economy and political system is stable, there’s never been more unity among people in Russia than now. UKRAINE WILL capitulate sooner or later, the more the West prolongs it, the more Ukrainians will die and more of the country will be destroyed.

The only solution is the peace negotiations which must happen NOW to save lives

As for Ukraine, it’s very unfortunate, the country was used just like a kamikaze pilot against Russia to weaken it as much as possible and will be thrown away when fully used just like it happened in Afghanistan.

I remind you once again - Russia and Ukraine had a brokered peace agreement in March 2022 which kept the 3 regions currently annexed by Russia as part of Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine neutral status and accepting Russian control of Crimea. Then, Boris Johnson came in and said “let’s fight; we won’t sign any agreements with the Russians” even though the Russians were just fooled with the Minsk accords. Funny enough, Boris wasn’t fighting himself and is no longer a PM.

There is reality about tanks:
In this war battle tank vs tank is rarity and even then these are more like ambush ....

Main losses tanks does have are cos mines and arty/ mortars/MRLS on top, ATGMS and fuel not delivered in time ....
Tanks more are used as fire support self propelled field guns and in some cases here T-54/T-55 even might be better than T-90.....
Why?
Because 125 mm smoothbore high pressure gun does have limited resource and 100mm rifled barrel gun allows to use T-54/T-55 as some kind of 4 inch self propelled field gun.
In distances more than 3000m with conventional simple shell it is more precise and ....Belarus, Russia and Iran& NK does have huge mountains with 100mm ammunition.
