Germany just approved 8.5 billion in aid to Ukraine. I think the fearmongering of the West abandoning Ukraine is bullshit.

The West will see it through and will outlast Russia.

German chancellor Olaf Scholz's governing coalition has agreed in principle to double the country's military aid for Ukraine next year to 8 billion euros ($8.5 billion), a political source in Berlin said on Sunday.

Not sure you realize this but Zelensky has high approval ratings and UKR are fighting for their freedom and dont want to live under Russian occupation. And yes it will come at a high cost but better then Just giving Russia a break to re-arm and invade down the road.

The White House released recently declassified intelligence on Tuesday confirming that the Russian mercenary organization Wagner group has been preparing to provide an air defense capability “to either Hezbollah or Iran,” according to National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby.

Wagner was preparing to provide the capability at the direction of the Russian government, Kirby said.

The newly downgraded intelligence did not specify where the missile system would be coming from. But CNN previously reported that the Wagner Group had been tasked with carrying out the delivery of a surface-to-air SA-22 missile system from Syria to the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon.

These are 100mm anti aircraft guns but might be used also as field guns....
Max effective range when used as field gun is up to 21km and Russia& it's friends North Korea and Iran does have a lot of ammunition for these.
 
If about reducing of support from west it is reality.

The same Slovakia now does have government who when told that should reduce budget deficit ....find easiest for them solution: to end military support for Ukraine.......
Obiviously they not likely will want to see Ukr in EU too. Why? Cos without Ukraine in EU their budget expenses will be lesser, for example lesser € to pay for Ukr ' reconstruction' ....
Also then there will not be burden to pay for Ukr agricultural lands subsidies.
A lot of reasons and sooner or later Ukr will see this.

Slovakian aid was very important support for Ukraine.
In the beginning of March 2022 th Slovakia started deliver Ukraine fuel.
Ukraine had get from Slovakia approx 2 000 000 liters aviation fuel and approx 10 000 000 liters diesel fuel.
Slovakia also had supplied Ukraine with 13 MIG-29 fighter jets and missiles for them, S-300. SAM battery and missiles for this battery.
Ukraine also had get other equipment and in total Slovakian military aid to Ukr was approx 671 000 000 EUR worth plus these fuel supplies mentioned here.
