Stuff with previously scheduled supposed supplies from Slovakia at least for 7,62mm ammunition batch in 4 000 000 cartridges looks that will be solved with supplies batches from Pentagon and Lithuania.
Lithuania will pay for part of this batch: 1 000 000 _ 7,62mm cartridges.

Isn't this what Ukraine did during its counter-offensive?

Ukraine had 2-3 attempts at rather small mechanized breakthroughs before they dismissed western offensive doctrine and went back to a crawl. Probably lost about 30 vehicles from that in a month before they gave it up.

Avdiivka offensive is hundreds of vehicles destroyed in weeks. The scale really isn't comparable.

You seem to have a lot of strong opinions for someone who doesn't know even the basics about what is going on.

While like in Russia units equipment etc depends from unit etc so is difficult to get overall situation. f.e some Russian units are equipped damn well, some are like back to 1989 th ( in best case ). With Ukr approx the same.

Russia is continuing to pressure. deMining efforts are done by shelling with mortars, howitzers and by using gliding bombs ....
Huelensky looks that had ordered to keep this are despite very decent shelling of possible supply routes. Hitler looks that wants to take this minefield at any cost and will continue to send units in this boring minefield.

If about Ukraine's crying regards too low weapons and ammunition supplies ...
They had been taught 600 days in row simple flowchart : when they are getting supplies immediately to spread all in large ammount of small depots....ASAP.
Not to keep large batch in one place.
Sadly most likely Ukr didn't had listened and recently they managed to blow up relatively big depot....
Ukr sources are hiding this in silence, Rus sources are making an elephant from small mice and still.....

Avdiivka stuff is hell .....basically it is minefield. Putin still is sending in ppl while most likely easier might be to bypass Avdiivka and closer areas and advance further because Ukr is unable to do anything serious even with " pincers "....
