Did they really had active base in Sudan?
Sudan looks that today does have some 2(?) generals fighting for hegemony in areas etc like stuff.
Sudan does have crude oil and gold mines etc stuff.
Hartum is in big trouble, while at least they once managed to negotiate ceasefire for 8 hours in Hartum in order to allow civies to relocate etc.
Sudan shit is really very bad btw and does have little attention in western media.

I actually don't know details in depth, just that they already does have some war and are generating refugees flow from Sudan.
