ISW - Russian/Ukraine Campaign Assessment, 31 August 2023.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted Ukraine’s domestic production of long-range missiles on August 31.

Zelensky stated that a Ukrainian-produced long-range weapon successfully hit a target 700 kilometers away but did not provide further details about the strike or the weapon. Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov previously stated on August 26 that a new but unspecified Ukrainian-made missile struck a Russian S-400 air defense system in Crimea on August 23, and Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Head Major General Kyrylo Budanov stated on August 24 that Ukrainian forces have the ability to strike any part of occupied Crimea.

What Ukraine is not getting from the West, it is making at 'home' or modifying it. Not really a secret.
. Ukraine Is Lobbing Eight-Ton Air-Defense Missiles At Russian Cities (forbes.com)
Sometime before this month (July), the air force pulled obsolete S-200 surface-to-air-missile systems out of long-term storage, apparently replaced the command-guidance units in their V-860/880 missiles with GPS seekers—thus converting them into surface-to-surface missiles—and began firing them at targets inside Russia. -- Ukraine’s substantial stocks of 1960s-vintage V-860/880 missiles begged for reuse. As a surface-to-air weapon, the bulky S-200 is out of date. Ukraine before the current war converted its air-defenses to newer, nimbler S-300 systems. But the same bulk that makes the 30-foot V-860/880 missile an air-defense dinosaur also makes it a useful ground-strike weapon.

You people like to label anything that isn't a complete Ukrainian victory as propaganda. It's sad to see how badly your nation has been brainwashed in all aspects of life.

Russia has immense production capabilities, and the more western influence and involvement, the worse it will get for Ukraine long term. How many cities must be destroyed, and lives must be lost, for American blood lust to extinguish. You're only hurting Ukraine in order to further your own anti Russian political agenda. You don't care about Ukrainian citizens, the real victims of this war.

So Russia bombing Ukrainian cities and killing people = American blood lust.

With the new Russian mobilization rules, Edward Snowden had better contemplate a move to another country.

I watch arm wrestling videos an a lot of Russian competitors moved to Dubai or kazakhstan. Lol waiting for them to be called back a lot of them.

Looks that Ukraine had established some networks how to smuggle in russia disassembled drones, then drones might be launched from russia on targets in russia.
Also if Ukr really adopted S-200 missiles to strike ground targets it will not be fun for russia.

Imagine if somewhere in Siberia some group launches drone on target in the same Siberia?

Now hold on just a second everyone
I have it on good authority from none other than @San Marino that these defensive lines were neigh impenetrable, and required some sort of D-Day-esq airborne drop to circumvent

What happened was they saw his post about sending 200 paratroopers in behind hard targets that couldnt be breached and took his advice. Said paratroopers killed all the Russian defenders. Looks like you lose, Limbo.

Was discussed at work since i got 2 guys at work who left when war began

That's coming from the pro-russian side of reddit and the spin is apparent. IMO, it's worth pursuing these people to set an example and expectation to prevent future issues.

did the two guys leave illegally? with forged docs?

You are in a good part of Brazil. The South. The German influence in the country. A part of Brazil that functions well. Agulhas Negras (Black Needles) is an Army military school in Resende. Similar to West Point here in the US. That location is also not too well known for its Nuclear Fuel Factory (FCN), comprising three units. Brazil could have gone nuclear back in the 1970s but opted out. Brazil has a good market in weapons, both civilian and military. It chose to make a lot of its own military armament instead of importing it. Tauros handguns sell here in the US. They are not bad. Embraer has made both civilian and military planes used by the US. The military wheeled vehicles have sold to many countries in the world, to include Italy, Israel, Iraq and Iran. Ukraine could have benefited from a military arms purchase from Brazil. Good equipment at a reasonable price. The ParaFAL chambered for the 7.62 cartridge has always been a reliable weapon.

- Taurus sell the bad quality ones here!

I can't see it happening , I guess it's just something those individuals will have to square with their conscience .

Paid they way through, ukr border guard leaked like hell at start of war.

Generally we dont talk about war, its very touchy and inpolite topic to talk about since both likely have friends on front.I mainly help them with life here (where to get this or that etc)

Conserning decision to leave both have families with kids so its understandable.
