Isn't that what you have been doing all along?...and even for you that's a shitty thing to superimpose and mock.

When did I say that? You said it yourself, Russia has nothing to fear from NATO
I think you must have me confused with someone else. More specifically, yourself.Isn't that what you have been doing all along?
You think I would forget this face?I think you must have me confused with someone else. More specifically, yourself.
So, it was 5 years, not 2.5 years. My mistake. And why did you get out?
No, not Company size elements. One Company with two to three Platoons (-). Similar to an SOF Operation. A distance of about 10 miles East of the major Russian defensive positions to the West. Again, initial drop to occur at night.
I have already addressed resupply, armor, artillery, and link up with friendly units.
Your turn now.
Uh, cool. Lots of veterans around here. Regardless, even suggesting someone had labeled themselves a "war hero" -the implication of course that they are dramatically exaggerating their service for moral sympathy- is ugly. A pattern has emerged with you regarding opinions on other service folks and frankly its a bit grody. You think I would forget this face?

* I too was in Iraq 'Limbo.' 'Darkballs' is not the only veteran in this thread. But, like you, he is just full of insults and ridicule.
of course they do, but political support is a delicate balance, and the longer economic turmoil goes on, the more electorates seek to blame something for their troubles, its what gave us brexit, trump, and the alarming rise of right wing populism in europe recently. add in the easily bored media putting a spin on minor squabbles and it could balloon into a falling appetite for funding ukraines defense, thats why zelensky needs to be careful. It's been going this way for a long time, so support might have wavered by now.
Ultimately, Russia need to leave Ukraine.
i had to uncheck the ignore list to read the last few pages...fuck me, now as well as general starcraft we have a joint task force commander dropping paratroops all over the place, somebody tell zelensky, hes doing it all wrong..Uh, cool. Lots of veterans around here. Regardless, even suggesting someone had labeled themselves a "war hero" -the implication of course that they are dramatically exaggerating their service for moral sympathy- is ugly. Let me explain that Russia causalities will resemble in the 10's of thousands and tank losses and artillery loses will be far worse then Ukraine. It's going to be bloody that is for sure.God I hope not..
Usa

Oh the one where you actually asked what conflict has been going on in Israel?
https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=israeli+palestinian+conflict
The real question is why did you ask that? You trying to win the biggest dipshit award?
Butthurt?
Got to love you people.
You come in, attack, ridicule and insult. When you get insulted back and proven wrong, you have to save face, and you keep posting.
You: What will the other posters think of me? I fucked up. I can't say I made a mistake.
I'm still waiting for your answer on the current conflict Israel is having with someone. You have evaded that question.
* Just put me on 'ignore' mate.
Well, @Darkballs was measuring 'dicks' and saying his was bigger. Implying he is 'better' than me? Somehow, what he did in Iraq was above my service in Iraq? He does not know shit about my service in Iraq and yet claims to have more experience.Uh, cool. Lots of veterans around here. Regardless, even suggesting someone had labeled themselves a "war hero" -the implication of course that they are dramatically exaggerating their service for moral sympathy- is ugly. So, it was 5 years, not 2.5 years. My mistake. And why did you get out? Not promotion material?
Let me take it from the top mate. Addressing Sergeant 'Darkballs' with the 'big' dick and no brains from the United States Marine Corps. War hero, know it all after his tour in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lots of ribbons I presume?
No, you asked for a very detailed explanation of my plan remember. Want me to quote you?
What were we thought in Infantry school and Ranger school when that 10-page detailed OPORDER goes out the window when the first round is fired downrange? The five magic words: METT-T (Mission, Enemy, Terrain, Troops and Time). I think I gave you a good general idea of the plan. I think you understood part of it. The rest kind of went over your head. You were a recon guy (0321), not a true front line trigger puller. Actually, firing a shot at the enemy would compromise your intel gathering mission. That is why you are worried about 'time' on the ground, 'extraction,' and 'resupplies.' You are doing your recon on the ground for what? A week maybe? Regular Infantry is on the ground without resupplies for much, much longer than that. I'm speaking from the Army side of the house, I'm not sure about the details of how the Corps operate their recon teams.

Again, initial drop to occur at night. I have already addressed resupply, armor, artillery, and link up with friendly units. Keep up with the scenario 'Darkballs.'
Not live off the land Sergeant. Live off enemy supplies and supplies from villages along the way. 'Interchangeable?' You fucked up there Sergeant. I know the calibers are not the same. I said use enemy weapons and ammo when needed. A link up if and when Ukrainian troops from the West breach a hole on Russian defensive lines. You do realize that landmines and snipers are really the only danger for Infantry. Mines, obstacles and trenches are there only to keeps tanks from moving forward. If Western troops don't make that breach than yes, the mission would fail. It is a chance these guys are willing to take.
So, you think my plan is stupid. Maybe, but at least I have a plan. It is a work in progress.
Your turn now.
Tell me how Sergeant 'Darkballs' from the USMC would attack the Russian Army from the West with his band of Ukrainian soldiers. Details.
Use paragraph 2 and 3 only of the OPORDER to simplify things. That would be:
2. Mission (Who, what, where, when, and why).
3. Execution.
Be sure to address METT-T. Mission, Enemy, Terrain, Troops and Time. Leave out the armor since they are not going anywhere past those defensive lines. Tell us of how you and your mates beat the Iraqi and Afghan forces with your incredible leadership skills. How that experience would translate into killing and beating Russians in Ukraine. Give it a shot.
Wow you are just a full blown POS…Well, taking into account that you are an ex- enlisted Marine who did not make Sergeant (E-5), I don't expect you to understand much. There was nothing wrong with the comparisons, we were discussing military tactics. The time in history was irrelevant. No, I did not play stupid. You mentioned dropping troops between minefields and enemy positions - during the day. That was stupid! My plan was to drop troops far east beyond were the enemy and mines were located - at night. Why don't you educate yourself on what the 82nd and 101st had to deal with during their drop in Normandy on D Day? They dealt with anti-aircraft guns. They had zero armor support. They were within artillery range of the Germans. But again, you are just a lowly dumb-fuck Marine who never made Sergeant. I met and worked with plenty of dumb-fucks just like you from the Marine Corps. The Marines had fine Officers, NCOs, and enlisted folks, but unfortunately, you were not one of them. Hence, no promotion. Early out.
Well, @Darkballs was measuring 'dicks' and saying his was bigger. Implying he is 'better' than me? Somehow, what he did in Iraq was above my service in Iraq? He does not know shit about my service in Iraq and yet claims to have more experience.
Oh, so now it is 'grody' when I do it for being attacked? Of course, when you do it itis perfectly ok right? You are such a hypocrite.
I don't attack other veterans or other members. I think that is immature and unprofessional.
If I get attacked and insulted, I will attack and insult back.
I get along just fine with the majority of veterans here on Sherdog. Thank you.
I think we should start flooding this thread with videos of the cities in Ukraine that are hit with Russian nightly missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure so people who react to the 'omg a Moscow building got hit' or 'oh no I can't bear to hear a Russian woman cry in reaction to some distant explosion' can see what Ukraine experiences. We have night after night of Ukrainian civilians injured or killed, not some minor attacks on empty buildings in Moscow.
Russia is intentionally/desperately destroying 'grain silos'. ....to black mail the West to remove the sanctions...where's the outrage...?
Not to me but to the U.S. Army.So now terrain matters after all? I thought you spent days arguing that it didn't....
...and you?Wow you are just a full blown POS.
