Aside from a few deranged denialists who pretended the Russia economy was doing far better despite sanctions, which is impossible on any kind of logical level, I think it's been apparent for some time that Russia has a limited economic lifespan to operate in under these conditions.
They can paper over cracks in their currency, stocks, even pretend the exodus of big businesses is easily replaceable, but it's only heading one way.
You simply cannot lose a massive chunk of your marketplace and continue to thrive.
