So, Blinken is running the show in Ukraine, not Zelensky. Do the Ukrainians have a voice on anything or is it just the US?
Hasn't Ukraine said the same thing themselves?

Wouldn't bother too much.Hasn't Ukraine said the same thing themselves?
San Marino actually wants Ukraine to loss and to be incorporated in Russian federation with 100% of Ukr territory.Hasn't Ukraine said the same thing themselves?
Interesting.
- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on June 2 that calls for a ceasefire are unacceptable because they will freeze the current lines in place and enable Putin to consolidate control of occupied areas and prepare for future attacks on Ukraine.

Guardian reporting capture of russian commander by wagner now
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...p-release-video-of-captured-russian-commander
I sense a movie trilogy about prigozin by hollywood if wagner would mutiny and head for moscow, like rocky but rocky is bald and bad guy
Edit the video
Brrt memes are not the reason. This fight was going on before memes were a thing. I told you the reason; the Air Force doesn’t want to pay for it. The comparison to apaches is not ridiculous because you said they’re too easy to shoot down, well apaches are even more easy to take out and we field those.CAS is not defined by how close the fire platform is to the troops, its about how close to the troops the target.
The concept of having an airplane strafe enemy positions with a gun is definitively obsolete to a point where not even the A-10, a plane that was built for such purpose, uses it as its main form of attack.
90%+ of A-10 vehicle kills was done with hellfire missiles in Iraq
This is an ignorant comparison, helicopters have a completely different role and set of advantages and disadvantages compared to fixed wing aircraft, that its another topic entirely of discussion.
It makes sense, because anything the A-10 currently does can be done much better by other assets, which would bring down costs.
As i said it makes absolutely no sense to have a platform built around strafing and then have smart munition be the main form of attack because otherwise they would be too vulnerable to enemy fire.
The only reason its political its because of the "brrrt" memes and how it seems that troops in the ground love to see an A-10 strafing run in action.
Its probably a big morale boost to see a friendly aircraft do a low pass and destroy an enemy position as opposed as to have an aircraft do exactly the same two dozen miles away.
Again CAS isn't defined by how close the plane is to the enemy, but how close the fire is to friendly troops.
If we go by raw firepower and loitering time, the best CAS plane is probably the AC-130 Hercules gunship, which is why the USAF is still fielding newer versions.
