It is not? Where are fresh Ukrainian troops coming from? The other side of that bullshit is to insinuate Ukraine is running out of bodies and that isn't true.
Only Russians are dying? Ukraine has lost a few hundred soldiers in Bahkmut.Bahkmut is about grinding down Russia with lopsided casualty numbers, which is how Ukraine wins the war.
So, tanks and artillery does not work for Russia, but it is somehow going to work for Ukraine?
I'm not sure how many have figured this out yet. Ukraine is getting just enough aid not to lose but not enough to win. At least 1 to 3 more years of fighting.Sure the work when you use combined arms and not just "forward with meatwall." Russia isn't getting the intel to their forces they way the Ukrainians are, AWACS, satellites, drones, secured comms. All of that info combined with NATO tactics are holding and (for the most part) overcoming the zerg rush.

Our economy is shit and has been for a long time, so we have far less money to spend. And we aren't in fear of being invaded or a war, so defence gets big cuts.
Whoever invades us will have to do so majorly from the sea, and no other countries have blue water navies capable of seriously threatening us with the exception of the US, who are our allies.
So why do we need a big navy?
I agree it's sad but pragmatically I can see why we've ended up in this position. I think we can just about manage to sail some Royal Marines across the world to defend the Maldives, if Argentina decide to try their luck again.
Russia is 28 times the size of Ukraine. If Ukraine is doing that well, how do you think Russia will do?Between active and reserve Ukraine was fielding an army of roughly 1 mil. Where are they coming from? Ukraine has a massive supply of fighting-age males, well over 6 million. They aren't running out of bodies anytime soon, regardless of whatever warped casualty figures you're looking at.
You really believe that? The Cold War ended in 1991. Why would Russia have imperialistic aspirations in 2022?I'm really glad a tiny portion of my taxes are going to Ukraine's fight for survival. A really great investment, so my children don't end up having to war over Russia's imperialistic aspirations.

They are using huge number of drones incl quadrocopters in Bakhmut area and sadly also does have better protection for their artillery than Ukr....Sure the work when you use combined arms and not just "forward with meatwall." Well, for example ideology prowided here by Dexter....To be fair naval and air power has been britian primary long arm. So having a large navy shouldn't be to hard to imagine since its kind of a English thing. It's kind of disgrace IMO for it to be that small.

The American weapons will be taken from Pentagon stocks through the presidential drawdown authority, so it will be able to be delivered quickly to the warfront. The U.S. has provided more than $32.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine since Russia invaded in February 2022.

It isn't reality.
Since Hitler had decided to attack U.K and had decided invade his friend's Stalin's country he already had lost more than 1000 airplanes and approx 2000 commisioned well trained aviation officers ( uni level ) plus part of navy....
So Hitler already had 0 chances to invade U.K with ground forces in any case regardless had he spent resources to fight vs USSR or no.
West really should had refused lend lease to USSR and then guys like Dexter today had posted in deutsch not botherered to know russian language.....
How is Ukraine winning this war? Russia still conquers roughly 20% of the country. They are not being pushed out. China and Iran have now sided with Russia. Ukraine is not winning, and Russia is not losing. The United States does not want Ukraine to win against Russia. Enough aid to keep from losing but not enough to bring about a victory either.28x the size of Ukraine in what regard? Put the 6 million fit for fighting Ukraine males against an invading Russian force of 30 million fit for fighting Russian males and Ukraine is winning this war.
My understanding is that they made a few payments at 75% of the debt was written off and never repaid.A big part of Soviet and Russian propaganda since the 50s has been to downplay the amount of foreign assistance they received during the war and portray it as a purely Russian conflict.
If we helped Ukraine the way we helped the USSR this shit would have been over a long time ago.
At least the USSR made their lend lease payments.
You left out the Iraq war costs to be added on top of what the US spent in Afghanistan. We had a much better economy than what we have now. Inflation is up, the southern border is open, and crime is up. The dollar continues to lose value in the world market. The banking system is now in danger of collapsing again. The country (US) is not doing well at all. It will continue to not do well for another two years. Money being poured into Ukraine only makes matters worse. To put in perspective, the US spent about $300 Mil per day on the Afghanistan war.... and that went on for 20 years. So if that $32 B figure is true, the amount the US spent aiding Ukraine is roughly what it spent in 3 months of Afghanistan.
