Law russell brand allegations

it wasn't like this before. you can thank scumbag politics and polarization for casting doubt on everything now.

30 years ago the reaction to ukraine would have been "omg, save ukraine!". now it's like "yeah...money laundering? corruption? 10% to the big guy and to everyone in congress?".

you cant really cast stones mate with how you post about ThE MeDiA iS OuT FoR TRumP DaDdY, He DiD All ThIS CaUsE ThE LeFt MeDia ToLd HiM toO!

Based off of experience and common sense I'm immediately suspicious of rape accusations of political figures, but those suspicions aren't my final opinion.
Given rape iz usually a crime of power, id wager public figures are generally more likely to commit this crime than your average person. Your logic backward to say the least.

I was running through the history of media in America, and if you don't think radio was impossibly influential for fifty years you're an idiot. Then it was television which conservatives bought immediately, and now it's social media where they've been dominant since day one.

And yeah, Elon, a billionaire who wanted to control information, bought Twitter and cut liberals out completely. He literally banned people on instructions from Cat Turd and Andy Ngo. If you look at what he's doing for more than a few seconds and think he cares even a little bit about free speech you're mentally handicapped, he recently stripped the automotive union of their blue check out of spite.

History is important, have you forgotten McCarthyism? Was that liberals oppressing conservatives or was it conservatives calling their enemies communist and erasing them from media?

the right were scumbags 50 years ago, but it's not 50 years ago, it's now. we live in the moment and the scumbags pushing the Fakest of Fake News is the left. y'all so good at it you won the presidency with it.

That's the rights go to these days , trump, rush and Alex Jones broke their brains

Just more ways to not hold people accountable for being pathetic fucking losers
Brand was a jack ass the moment he got on the scene, why is anyone remotely surprised that the weird obnoxious unfunny asshole turns out to be a creeper

I'm not following this story. But, what was its genisis?

A) a woman came forward with claims. After these claims were heard, others came forward.

B) a journalist/documentary maker went around interviewing his former girlfriends until they found something disparaging to publish.

Either way, a guy in his 30s 'dating' a 16 year old is f*****g gross and possibly illegal.

I been to the bank hundreds of times but they only focus on the one time I robbed it. SHOCKING

They sure did a number on you. You’re a paranoid cynic now. You only believe your brainwashers now.

Every villain says their party was bad but is good now.

I hate pretty much all MMM but calling out liberal media and not calling out conservative media is the height of hypocrisy, or stupidity, I can't tell which.

no one said the right is good, it's just the left is so extreme in comparison right now they make the scumbags on the right look decent. remember, 20 years ago the divisive, tyrant, fear mongering, war pushing scumbags were the right wingers and the bush administration. funny how the roles switched.

buh, buh, buh, both sides!
I always find it amusing when you guys mock people who claim that both sides are capable of a thing that is not good, or corrupt politically. History is full of both sides pushing these legal boundaries or just doing illegal shit, that then gets referred to as "bad practice" by our trash media. To think otherwise, is just partisan

Oh so you automatically believe all accusations of political figures committing rape? Or just the ones you don't like?

I don't consider 'crime of power' or status in guaging the believability/likelihood of accusations being credible. Its either they have evidence, or GTFO.

And there's not been anything indicating the accusers are even pressing criminal charges. The accusers who haven't even put their names and faces on public record alongside their rape accusations.

What qualifies as evidence for you?

Anything more than some anonymous person on a media article or story. Case by case basic otherwise.

Oftentimes in cases like this, people make up their mind simply based on the person's fame, political affiliation, if they like them or not, simply because they're male, etc.

Why some you people care so much about a situation that:

A. Has literally ZERO to do with you or anyone/anything you'll ever come in contact with

B. Have no idea what the fuck really happened and never will

I will never understand

Oh so you automatically believe all accusations of political figures committing rape? Or just the ones you don't like?
I do not. I weigh the evidence case by case.
I don't consider 'crime of power' or status in guaging the believability/likelihood of accusations being credible. Its either they have evidence, or GTFO.
The same traits that make people high performing individuals also align with trends that tend to predispose toward certain behaviors. I'm sure you believe politicians are more likely to lie than the average person, no? Or to be more vain than the average person?

what evidence would you consider credible enough to believe an allegation has legs?
And there's not been anything indicating the accusers are even pressing criminal charges. The accusers who haven't even put their names and faces on public record alongside their rape accusations.
And? Not every victim wants to press charges, or on a timeline that satisfies random people on a karate board.

So in this case, what do evidence do you need to see? Is the evidence/testimony presented so far enough?

Anonymity isn't ideal but it's also standard across the western world for reporting on rape, especially involving minors.

I do not. I weigh the evidence case by case.

As do I.
In this case, there is no evidence to weigh.

Likelihood of a person's profession to rape may be an interesting statistic, if it was accompanied by psychological data, but ultimately irrelevant.

what evidence would you consider credible enough to believe an allegation has legs?

DNA.
Police reports.
A hospital visit.

As well as a detailed explanation as to why the accusers waited years to come forward publicly, and why they didn't come forward sooner.

Was there any organization by a 3rd party to find women Russell Brand had relationships with? How were multiple accusers eventually become connected to make a simultaneous public accusation?

And? Not every victim wants to press charges, or on a timeline that satisfies random people on a karate board.

And what?

Yes, not every 'victim' wants to press charges... because that'd turn additional eyes on them, and their credibility. If they raped they should want their rapist to be tried and sentenced. Otherwise, this is a political hitjob.

So far, this reeks of a political hitjob.
*Simultaneous & Anonymous accusers.
*They went to the media, and not the police.
*No physical evidence.
*No circumstantial evidence.
*No word of the desire of criminal prosecution.
*No specifics, just no-faced & no-named women saying 'he raped me.'

I don't care if you like Russell Brand or despise him, there's literally nothing here to conclude he's ever raped anybody. Saying otherwise indicates you're just in favor of him being discredited for political reasons.
