Personally I don't have an opinion on what this is and what's going on. However the people that think they're digging old stuff to perform a takedown aren't completely insane, the timeline fits.

This isn't just victims stepping forward, which is the way it should be.

They have to be guided forward, and unfortunately, you do have to consider the timing. Why now? Why not earlier, when he was essentially confessing his crimes in rehab? That would have made way more sense.

The media decided when to start this investigation based on when it would be most interesting to do so - not because they simply had to do something to save the victims. This was hardly done benevolently.
