But that's not what he said there. He said that maybe they passed up other jobs to take this one. Which is normal in Hollywood, you take one gig at the expense of other gigs. Which would mean that this ending prematurely was an economic loss, assuming that they had other potential work opportunities.
Yeah. That would have been fuckin' awkward.Yeah, but she didn't. I happen to think it was a jab at the lady's resemblance to the old school POTA figures, BUT...
It's still bad. What's ABC supposed to do here? Release a statement saying,
"No, no, no, you misunderstood, people. Roseanne's comments weren't intentionally racist. She was merely stating her opinion that Mrs Valerie Jarrett looks a bit like those ape-like creatures from "Planet Of The Apes". We know your mind automatically goes to racism when an African American descendant is compared to an ape, but that's just not the case here...we think. As for that "Muslim Brotherhood" quip, meh. We just want to make it clear that she wasn't being racist. She was merely being hateful. Relax.
Tune into "Roseanne" this fall!"
"Oh Simpson, can't you go 5 seconds without embarrassing yourself?""You look foolish, Simpson!"
Damn how embarrassing for her co-stars. That’s got to be a kick in the balls knowing your show was cancelled because of somebody elses tweet
I disagree that it's the same. They shouldn't. It's a business decision. She tweeted something extremely stupid, and paid consequence. Unfortunately, she also cost a lot of people their jobs.
The same deal with the NFL kneeling thing. That's their decision to place some rule, if they were losing revenue last year because of it.
Pretty much.Live by the Roseanne. Die by the Roseanne.
Well, at east DJ and Becky live by that motto.
I feel badly because season two was in preproduction. Lots of people rearranged their lives and made plans around this gig.Damn how embarrassing for her co-stars. That’s got to be a kick in the balls knowing your show was cancelled because of somebody elses tweet
Becky's got that Rick and Morty cash, son.Live by the Roseanne. Die by the Roseanne.

How many of you are familiar with the concept of a "tontine"?"Oh Simpson, can't you go 5 seconds without embarrassing yourself?"
It wasn’t him. It was a reasonable poster.
There was no way in hell anyone associated with financing the show wanted to be dipped in the same shit.I think it sucks it got cancelled.
I think it should have been addressed another way, maybe it still will on a talk show run or something.
But what she said was dumb and inexcusable and apparently its not the only thing. I don't follow Twitter so her other crazy tweets are new to me.
Loved the first run of the show only caught a couple episodes of the reboot but I liked it.
One thing I wonder though is in the future with method actors will they make racist and stupid tweets if the get roles like Trump or Roseanne Barr in their bio-pics
LOL, that episode is an all time great one.How many of you are familiar with the concept of a "tontine"?
...all right, Ox. Why don't you take us through it?
How so? Both are owned by companies, making private business decisions, no?I disagree that it's the same.
That's the second Becky. The original Becky is still screwed.Becky's got that Rick and Morty cash, son.
She apologized, but I'll bet anything she'll be playing the victim soon enough.I wonder what she'll tweet now.
