Roseanne Barr told a very bad joke. There's no need to treat her as a racist because she told a shitty joke will being more conservative. Had she told a similar joke about Clarence Thomas back in the '90s it would have sled as Roseanne just being Roseanne.

This is a ludicrous insult for JVS specifically, as economics is very clearly his greatest area of policy knowledge. And he's been open about foreign relations being what is outside his area of expertise.
