Wow, your single sentence contains two facts, and neither of them is correct.Disney owns nbc , show was on nbc.
I'll field the question again...how did Roseanne cost Disney money?

Is it beastiality for a human to wood Helena Bonham Carter's character in the movie? I mean we share like 98% of our DNA with apes after all.
Ummmmm but just asking for a friend . . .

Yeah, but it's not like they have reason to be mad at Roseanne.John Goodman is definitely the most well off actor here so he's probably just disappointed.
The mother is so old she probably takes everyday in stride. Jackie made several appearances on Big Bang Theory so she probably also well set.
The other actors however, especially Becky, DJ, are probably pissed. This was their meal ticket.
Yeah, but it's not like they have reason to be mad at Roseanne.
After all, what the fat lady giveth, the fat lady can taketh away.
My favorite game with having people on ignore is playing "guess which racist". Always delivers some lulz.
Does your friend want to bone her in the bride of frankenstein makeup as well?

I'm dumbfounded as to how she possibly thought making a joke about a black person looking like a monkey would go over well. I don't buy her as a true racist, she's a comedian and comedians try to be edgy and often go over the line and this is certainly a great example of that.
I want to start up a business vetting celebrity Tweets before they go out. So many millions of dollars lost when celebs don't think long enough about a Tweet and end up committing career suicide.
I haven't seen Mad Men yet so I can't speak on their specific artistic intent, but Planet of the Apes was a commentary on race relations at the time and is basically the opposite of racist. It's a warning for people to stop dehumanizing others. The directors of Mad Men sure as hell weren't implying that black people were apes though, so why would there be public outrage over that scene? It always amazed me that Mad Men didn't get more blowback for the episode where Don takes his son to see Planet of the Apes right after MLK gets shot and literally while they're watching it, the race riots are happening.
That was only 2013. I can't imagine that episode coming out today, they'd get fucking annihilated for it in the press.
Roseanne was always an edgy comic and this line really isn't that out of line for her. Love her or hate Her, she's respected in comedy for being a legit comic who isn't afraid to broach subjects like race even just to mock them.
We've seen time and again though, Twitter is a show killer. If you have a career you need to stay off that shit. Looking at you, Anthony Cumia and Nick DiPaolo. You work out your material on stage, not on fucking Twitter.
Referring to Barack Obama's former aide, Valerie Jarrett, an African American born in Iran to American citizens, Roseanne said Jarrett was what would happen if the "Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes had a baby".
Yeah, but it's not like they have reason to be mad at Roseanne.
