Is Thomas Almeida a GOAT? How about any of the other fighters that have went 10, 20 or even 30-0 against sub par competition? How many Female bantamweight MMA fighters are there? 50? Compare that to the thousands in every male division. There was no competition, not long ago WMMA was full of dykes with zero technique slapping at eachother. There are tons of fighters that wrecked everybody in the first round in small promotions then went on to get dominated against high level fighters.

Megumi Fujii was a much better ground fighter though. All Ronda has is an armbar and a hip toss. Fujii had a variety of ways to get her opponents down and a variety of submissions. I do agree that she opened up doors for her gender though. She got WMMA in the UFC and now there will be a lot more WMMA fighters and the skill level will continue to increase.

Well shes still the GOAT wmma or even mma fighter as far as star power and popularity. But yeah purely as skills go she will be surpassed quickly and actually probably never was the best.
