Not following your thinking. If she's two weight classes bigger than Rousey, she should be going up and weight and having catch weights against 155 pounds and bigger women - creating a 155 pound division if necessary (if the UFC can create a 145 pound division when there's almost no 145 pound fighters, Invicta can create a 155 pound division if there's no 155 pound fighters). If she's the same size as Rousey, she can make 135 as easily as Rousey.

The only spot for a catch fight is if they're within a division of each other. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Drained Cyborg vs Rousey isn't interesting. Neither is smaller Rousey ws bigger Cyborg. What we want is the two to fight when they're at the same weight in the cage - that's what would be interesting, skill vs skill. And that means some combination of Cyborg losing muscle and Rousey gaining muscle.

I agree with you that it would be best to see both of them healthy so it makes me keep going back to the fact that Rousey used to fight at 145 and even said (on her own accord) that she would go to 145 to fight Gina Carano. For any champ that has effectively cleaned out their division, the only next step is to take fights at the next weight class up. Since there isn't a 145 lb class having a catch weight with Cyborg makes sense. She wouldn't even have to put her belt on the line.

Healthy and the same weight at cage time. Meaning either Cyborg loses 10 pounds of muscle, Rousey gains 10 pounds of muscle, or some combination thereof.

Drained Cyborg or undersized Rousey aren't really interesting, they have to be healthy and the same size to make it a real test of skill.

The myth that Cryborg is a killer, ko artist is false. Look at her resume its terrible. Ronda's wins are faster, better, more brutal and against much MUCH better competition.

cyborg USED to be much much lighter and looked more feminine. cyborg now is VERY big, overly big for a woman. she lifts weights to mantain that muscle mass. all she has to do is cut back on the weights and slowly lose a bit of muscle. if she says she can make 140 she needs to drop 5 lbs of muscle.

So true .. it surprises me how many people didn't catch that Rousey actually KO'd Alexis twice in that fight. Alexis went out with that right hand Ronda landed, but Ronda also immediately clinched, which kept Alexis from face planting .. crashing to the matt wakes Alexis up and then Ronda KO's her again!

That is prolly why it took over 30 secs for Ives to get Alexis to stop holding him.

Cyborg has NEVER KO'd any female fighter with hand strikes ... never. She has one KO victory via Knee to body against Jan Finney in 2010, that is all.

Cyborg TKO'd her last opponent in 45 seconds, while Ronda KO'd/faceplanted her last opponent in 34 seconds with a single right hand. Not to mention that Ronda KO'd Alexis Davis twice in what? ... 16 seconds
