Ronda, after this one it's time to accept Cris Cyborg fight at 140lbs.

To doesn't understand Rhonda isn't in charge of ufc matchmaking....
 
Neither one of them wants the fight, it's crystal-clear to anyone who isn't a fanboy or hater of either fighter.
 
Actually it is time for Cyborg to get off the roids and make 135 naturally. Ronda is the draw, not her job to change weight classes.

Why is it not realistic? We shouldnt give fight promotions a pass when they don't put together the fights we want. I don't hate Ronda at all, but this is a fight that needs to happen. I feel like all these excuses are just protecting Ronda.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on this fight ever happening. Cyborg has pretty much made it clear with her comments to the media lately that she has no intention on making the 135lb weight limit.

Ronda is in the big leagues, and has no real reason to accept a CW fight with Cyborg, other than to please a bunch of Sherdoggers.

Then the UFC buys SF and picks up Ronda's contract and creates the 135 class. Then, the UFC picks up Cyborg's contract and even offers to let her to go Invicta and make money while she trims down until she can make 135. They even offered to PAY Mike Dolce for her to help her lose the weight.

Then, the UFC gets cozy with Invicta, puts them on fightpass and makes an agreement that Cyborg will get into the UFC if she makes 135. Cyborg signs a contract to make 135 in Dec 2014, but continues to lift weights on a daily basis and doesn't even try to cut the weight, pulling out of the fight and saying she will continue to fight at 145, but that she will still fight Ronda at 145, effectively ducking the fight again (duck #3) by not agreeing to the terms that will get her the bout agreement

This doesn't even take into account all the times Cyborg says she is going to 135, then she will die if she does, then she will be fine, then dead again ... etc.

she doesn't exactly look like a concentration camp victim, she is still carrying a ton of muscle mass. She just has to drop five pounds of it and the fight is on. Cyborg is just too psychologically attached/addicted to her muscle mass to let it go. She knows she can keep her name in the headlines by barking at Ronda from a distance, while never having to actually take the fight.

Cyborg has no leverage to dictate the terms. Ronda is going nowhere, she is a stationary target, if Cyborg wants the fight, she knows where she has to go to get it.

that means she is saying she can fight at a weight 35 pounds below her walkaround weight, but claimed it was physically impossible, and maybe even fatal, if she tried to cut from her walkaround weight of 160 (see video above) down to 135 back when she asked to be released from the UFC, even though that is only 25 pounds. The only conclusion was that she JUST DIDN'T WANT THE FIGHT, since she could have clearly cut the weight.

So lose five pounds of muscle from where you were before and make the fight. The UFC wasn't willing to make a catchweight fight for Carano ("White made it clear that if such a fight would happen, it would have to occur at 135 pounds."), so they sure aren't going to make one for you.

Yep lets get pissed at the 135 UFC champ for not wanting to fight the known roider 145 Invicta champ in a catchweight fight. Ronda's got everything to lose while Cyborg just stands to gain.

The ONLY reason Cyborg is a big 145er is because of her illegal steroid use which permanently changed her body, which is an unfair advantage towards REAL female athletes. Instead of cutting the "supplements" and stopping weight training to cut down to 135 safely, she'd rather keep up her weight training with zero intention of going to 135 in the hopes Ronda moves up to fight her eventually.

Cyborg just wants the same size advantage she's had in every other fight she's completely dominated. Shes an disgrace to WMMA and I can only hope she suffers the rest of her life from side effects of using male hormones to gain an unfair advantage vs undersized women.

It's unrealistic because Ronda is the champion at 135. She has no obligation to fight somebody at any other weight. If someone wants to fight her, they will have to go to her. She is the draw, she is the champion. The problem is that it really isn't possible for Cyborg, she can't make 135 without sacrificing everything that makes her Cyborg. Dolce said he could get her to 135, and i'm sure he could, just like he got BJ down to 145, however he clearly wasn't healthy at that weight, nor was he anywhere near as potent a fighter as he was at 155. It would be the same case here.

And Dana White said that fight would need to happen at 135- he wouldn't allow a catchweight fight then either.
 
Fight politics. It's not going to happen. They're not going to jeopardize her losing to make this fight happen that way.

With someone like Cyborg, and especially with the possibility of her beating their mainstream cash cow in Ronda, there would need to be some future incentive in the deal. They wouldn't just sign her to a 1 fight deal, if she beats Ronda she needs to keep fighting in the UFC and selling tickets. So what happens then? Do they create a new weight class for her? Or do they keep prodding her to drop down?
 
There are still plenty of contenders/undefeated fighters in 135. The matchmakers need to make more matches instead of having only a few active WBWs fight once or twice a year. If they want anybody to have some type of win streak they need to have fights more often.
 
After this one, She has another rematch with Tate and then she's going to go shoot a movie with Wahlberg. By that time Cyborg will have successfully stalled as long as possible and finally cut weight and will be ready for her 135 lb debut.
