Not sure how it works outside of the U.S., but does USADA do intensive drug testing when the events are held overseas or done by another organization?

Romero couldn't make it. He probably spent lots of energy trying to cut before the weigh-ins. He's gassed out in previous fights after the 1st round and finished with a KO in the third.

Not hating on the guy. He's a great fighter. Just wanting to know more about how drug tests are done outside of the U.S., if they are as strict.

everyone's body structure/physique is different. some fighters have similar frames and others are different. guys like gsp who are just naturally gifted to have a body that looks good, also comes with hard work and exercise. while other fighters may not have as much muscle definition, they may be bulkier or thicker in comparison, ect.

point being guys who were bigger and more muscular than gsp could've speculated to be on the juice prior to usada, roids also don't have to make you looked ripped and big, but target weight cut or maintain muscle mass during weight cuts without making you look huge and ripped (not making it obvious being on something).

romero is 40 and his body looks to be in great shape for someone of that age, doesn't mean he doesn't work hard in the gym and tries not to add weight but maintain his physique on and off his training camp...but i will admit he looks aweuflly ripped, i mean even gsp didn't look like that when he fought bisping at mw.....mind you romero is meant to fight at mw or even lhw, gsp is not suited for mw anyways, point being i can see why some would question if romero is on stuff.

but i think he's been tested many times before and passed, maybe its just cutting the weight being more tough on him as he ages, fighters don't seem to be getting away with much these days since usada was launched, guys who were getting away with it prior are now getting caught so i wouldn't say 100% but i would guess romero is clean, just a hard working individual.

he's probably got the best wrestling at mw, and the strength to defend td's and as well td his opponent pretty much at will due to his wrestling, he also has ko power and seems to be able to take a punch well.

romero is hard to beat because he can take you down when the fight is against him and has the ability to hurt you even in the later rounds with his hands, if you got great wrestling and the ability to ko people thats a pretty good winning combination, plus he can take a punch.

How he even has fans is baffling to me. Either he beat somebody's "boy" or people jump on the train of anybody who wins a belt. From what I've seen there's nothing redeeming about the guy. I'm no hater of Rockhold , there was just never an emotionally invested interest in any real fight of his and I always liked the other guy better except for Bisping. Those two were neutral with equal dickish behavior.
