Media Roman Kopylov TKO Chris Curtis GIFS

Kaz as always you the ultimate sherbro but that's a BS stoppage.
The actual stoppage was good. Chris was done. Had it happened at any other time no one would complain.

Just because he would've been saved by the bell people cry about the stoppage. Refs don't look at the clock.

He would've lost the decision anyways.

One of the dirtiest cheapest shots that I’ve ever seen! Both of them actually. Guy losing throws a nut shot and a clear eye poke to stop Curtis from drowning him with the pressure. I had money on Roman and still was disgusted

The nut shot was an obvious deflection caused by Curtis parrying a body shot and Curtis was a good sport about it and acknowledged as much. So you're being hysterical over that, it was not a cheap shot and not Kopylov's fault.

Eye poke was definitely bad and looked intentional though.

The groin shot was a body jab that Curtis down-blocked into his cup, it was truly a freak accident.

Now the eye poke was just sloppy/dirty shit.

good job kaz kopylov kopylov's gym spies
sad that circumstances fucked cries crytis again (not sad)

I can't tell if you're just trying to be funny or not, but I've been noticing how many times the momentum shifts in many fights because of these two types of fouls. Take the Poteria fight for example, it was competitive before the fouls, then after that nut shot that took him over a minute just to stand up, then another two minutes to recover, it was like he couldn't even fight anymore. It doesn't help with refs pressuring them to hurry up either.

Don't see much wrong with the stoppage at all. Curtis was about to faceplant on the canvas.

If anything, Kopylov really should learn from this and actually FOLLOW UP instead of trying to walk off. Next time he might not be so lucky to get the stoppage.

Ah well, that stoppage made a 46/1 (think that's +4600 in american style?) bet cash for me. Thanks ref!

Nice kick, pretty sneaky to throw it after those hands. Made it look like he was about to reset after missing those hooks, then blam! Up comes the leg. Made enough contact to get the stoppage.

Bad stoppage but it didn't matter...also Kop should have had a point taken in round 2 for the low blow followed by the eye poke, Legit that eye poke changed the fight he landed several hard lefts in the sequences following the eye poke

Ironically I think Kopylov NOT following up is what got the ref to stop it. He sold it as if it was a walk off ko (it was not lol). Rozenstruik did the same against overeem previously.

That said, coaches are gonna need to really train these guys to not stop until the ref jumps in cause both Kopylov and ponzi were lucky to get bs stoppages tonight from premature ref intervention.

The walk off trick has been a thing for a while, because the refs are extraordinarily unprofessional and easily manipulated.

But we have also seen it backfire spectacularly, so any coach who advises it as a strategy is a mong.

Chris Curtis' beard seems unfairly voluminous for an MMA fight where you're targetting a fella's chin.

Missed the fights but saw the gif and thought 'jeez that seemed a bit early.'

Then I found out it was 4:59 or round 3? lol, fuck me drunk! what a shit call by the ref 😆

Chris Curtis did better in that fight than i thought he would, the stoppage was weird, atleast let it go on for 1 second more, Kopylov was on his way to win the decision anyway.

Dude was awake on 1 knee and fighter nowhere near him.
Why the fuck would you stop it??
