She is definitely not more skilled than 50% of male bantamweights.
Her striking is probably the worst of any fighter ever to fight in the UFC. Conversely, the male bantamweights division is probably the most stacked, most skilled division in the promotion. Everybody can strike. Everybody can grapple. Some are specialists in one or the other, but every guy can do both. Ronda can't strike. Is she better at judo than most guys? Sure. But this is MMA, not judo. Her overall skills are not higher than male bantamweights and certainly not higher than 50% of the most stacked and skilled division in MMA.
Please stop. You're embarrassing yourself.
I meant skilled in grappling.
Her striking sucks, has always sucked and will always suck.
People seem to be missing my point.
The UFC hires awful fighters, probably to just keep the monopoly going.
This has less to do with Ronda and more to do with the lower end of UFC competition is pretty fucking bad.
She dies against anyone that is even mildly near the top 10.
That said, she has the distinct style to get around the physical advantages.
People say Nunes would have a better chance than Ronda and I heavily beg to differ.
Nunes relies on her physicality and is rather sloppy.
A fast armbar can catch almost anyone if the timing is right.
