If he doesn't fight he will be worse off as he will still have training camp expenses to cover. He is getting more now with the percentage from Romero's cut over the weight issues & it is 3lb (the gloves & cup probably weigh more than that!) not 30lb, so will not be at a disadvantage in reality. He is also significantly taller than Romero as well. I do not particularly like either fighter, but I am rapidly losing any modicum of respect I may have still had for Cockhold now. Bisping would still take the fight as would 99.9% of others in the weight class. It is not as if the 3lb is going to drastically alter the way Romero fights. If anything he will gas quicker with his muscle mass carrying the extra few pounds.

If Cockhold is only in it for the money, then he may as well jump to Bellator for more money & "easier" fights.
