There’s no way I can see DuPlessis winning this. Whittaker’s footwork is going to have DDP swinging at air until he gasses himself out. I don’t think DDP will be able to catch Whittaker without being brutalized like KG was

Unless Whittaker shows up drunk (drunk Whittaker prob still wins) and has a somehow worse gameplan than Izzy 1 I don't see any possibility of him losing bearing a fluke ko or something
This being a number 1 contenders is nice though
The one good thing with Izzy beating Alex is the UFC is seeing that people don't really care if fighter A has beaten fighter B 2 times or more
They just want good matchups
I think Rob gets what should have rightfully been his the second time if he gets that shot

I'd say his best chance here is to catch whittaker with sonething big and put him away because I don't see him out pointing Whittaker for significant periods of the fight. Dricus has a 94 percent finish rate across 19 wins though, so he's definitely a capable finisher....

Safe money is on whittaker though.

As someone who likes Rob, I have no interest in seeing him fight Izzy again..

Besides the first fight where Whittaker went nuts, their styles match up poorly, Izzy will pick him apart in another boring 5 rounder.

Rob should look to shed some weight at go to WW if possible.. the belt is gettable there.
