I hope Rizin move him up instead of him going to UFC. Dana will do something boring with him

I think UFC has done justice with the matchmaking of promising Central Asian fighters. They know that region has been booming with talent. Shavkat got Alex Oliveira in his debut. Ruziboev got Bruno Ferreira as a short notice replacement. Almabayev got Ode Osbourne. Maksum got Tyson Nam. I'm not even sure it's possible to go a boring route with Shaydullaev.

He would definitely benefit UFC if he was there, but personally I prefer being able to see him in Rizin cards full of knockouts rather than UFC cards full of slop

I get that, but the depth of the divisions are just so low now in other organizations. Wasn't the case before, 10-15 years ago, but it is now. And I would rather see stand outs move to the UFC and fight other guys at their level than watch them hang around as big fish in small ponds.

But if they are making money, who cares what I think.

NYE this year had some letdowns (Ya-Man falling off, HW title fight scrapped, Kubo/Dautbek eye poke ending), but all said and done the card delivered, and was finished way earlier than anticipated. That looked like a murder. Holy shit, we are never seeing Shaydullaev in the UFC. People still question if this guy could do things at 135/145 in the UFC, he's a terror. Even in the corner from the back body lock unloading those punches, he hit Asakura hard as fuck.

RIZIN is gonna have to pay him, and find some world class opposition for him. That performance was unreal, I think he is who we thought he was, no doubt

The only world class talent who he could fight is Losene Keita (and thats if the UFC actually released/releases him). Besides that they have to co-promote with PFL and have him face AJ McKee or maybe Paul Hughes, with KSW and have him face Salahdine Parnasse or ONE and face fellow countryman Akbar Abdullaev. Otherwise theres nothing for Razbali and he was already a career 135er before Rizin signed him, Japanese promotions are awful at matchmaking and they might just try to push him up to 155 now since theres a lack of options at 145.

Im a purist, hes outgrown Rizin so I would like to see him leave. If they want to throw a lot of money at him, I understand he will likely stay but literally murdering a bunch of guys who are outside the top 15-20 in the world skill wise gets old and he already jumped from 135 to 145 (maybe he aged into it? Hard to say) but I know he likely doesnt have the frame to ever be world class at 155 and his style is pretty reliant on physicality as it is, he's no technician lmao.

Not to be overdramatic, but the forum going down right when the event started was a real letdown. I had all my food and everything lined up and ready to go, planning to have some fun chats into the morning. Then bam. Suddenly the forum became a point of frustration and the night just wasn’t the same.
