Rizin RIZIN: Otoko Matsuri ***Sherdog Discussion*** 5/4 12AM ET (RIZIN.TV)

Lol wtf, absolutely smoked him
There is an argument that it could have gone a little longer, but idk that Kleber had an avenue to win this fight, short of mat wizardry. Shaydullaev is the total package, he'd probably be defensive enough on the ground to prevent the sub, and Kleber was never going to win a standup fight. Shaydullaev will probably hold that belt for however long he desires to stay in Japan, definite world class talent

I'm sure Kleber will argue it was a bit early but judging by his facial expression in the replay he was on another planet by the time he took the follow-up punches

Klebers a good fighter, I didn't expect him to get flushed like that, but yeah Shaidullaev is just a different level

I figured he'd at least make it to round 2. Feel for the guy, probably the toughest loss he's experienced. Like he wasn't even meant to be in the same ring

He wasn't. Kleber is a uhhh...a grappling specialist that's experienced and savvy but he's older, kinda a high tier journeyman and pretty unathletic/not gifted. Shaydullaev is one of the best prospects in the world, undefeated, explosive puncher, confident and was punking Dagestanis in the wrestling department. There was no path to victory for Kleber besides making something weird happen, some banana peel shit.

I know, bud, I know. I think you missed the post previous to the one you quoted. But I'm happy we agree about Shaydullaev

Shaydullaev really is special. Gotta figure by the time he's 26-27 he'll hopefully have made his way to UFC by then.

Let it be known, I've been telling you guys about Shaydullaev before he even dunked Khabibs boy on a UAE card, before he was even on @Hellowhosthat radar. I got an eye for talent, so many central Asians looking amazing in MMA these days.
Boy broke his arm patting himself on the back.
