I've seen your calls for heavier fights, for like at least a year now, and I'm happy to report they've been listening to you for a few cards now. The names haven't really been there, but they've been adding HW clashes to the cards. I believe this card has two (although, idk if the Kato/Sudario fight is considered HW or OW), and also a MW bout. They are trying to expand a bit into the rest of the world, they know that fans outside of Asia want big boy fights.Wow this looks awesome all because they added a heavier fight with an interesting name like Kato, remember him Knocking out Schilling years back in Bellator this is what Rizin should do with most their cards add one fight that is above LW it adds that extra something to spice the card up.
The other matches look great as well Kolesnik have saw him on Rizin cards before the other fights all look good, I'll be buying this for sure.
I'm just glad they added something at least, having even relatively unknown HW's or LHW's is important because it builds the weight divisions and that is how Prochazka, Nemkov were found.I've seen your calls for heavier fights, for like at least a year now, and I'm happy to report they've been listening to you for a few cards now. Kolesnick is a legit talent, and this match with Takeda is a really good one, on paper.
Most of those heavier guys they invited early on ended up becoming serviceable talents, at worst, and champs in the West, at best. The PRIDE crew has always had one of the best eyes for talent in the game, and they've carried that quality with them to RIZIN. Always interested when some unknown international talent shows up, bc, more often than not, they pan out.I'm just glad they added something at least, having even relatively unknown HW's or LHW's is important because it builds the weight divisions and that is how Prochazka, Nemkov were found.
I don't mind them having the organization 90 or 80% lighter weight classes, most of the human population fall within those weights so I get it but it's not wise to cancel out the heavier weight classes, so seeing this is good news.
Its gonna be on the Rizin website or YT channel ? I heard that the last event 48 was shown afterwards on either one of those platforms if I'm not mistaken either way that's awesome. Most of those heavier guys they invited early on ended up becoming serviceable talents, at worst, and champs in the West, at best.
