Rizin FF 45 NYE Horiguchi vs Shinryu

With the Bellator sale becoming official is there any possibility of Bellator/PFL guys being on the NYE Rizin card?

I don’t think so …. Coker was the contact … fighters like spike and Archuleta had dual contracts with both companies, they Can participate for sure… PFL would want their guys on their international cards and Bellator who is going to become only international in the time being
 
It would be nice to see at least a MW or LHW fight on the NYE card, so far I haven't seen anything spectacular it terms of excitement sure there is the Juan vs Kai match but that's something I would expect anyways this is the NYE card its supposed to be epic.

I saw on the Azerbajian card they had a LHW match that was good they need more of that also lately they've been having Igor Tanabe a MW this is also great but build those divisions up and have champs in them, stop rotating the same guys around and having Sudario face a real opponent like what happened to Todd Duffee its just like Rizin to forget about some big name HW fighter when they should have tried to get said fighter on the next card disappointing.

well... lovato competed in MMA in japan last NYE... could they get him again?

That's what I'm talking about have him face Tanabe, is there anyone in the World wide forum that has contacts with Sakikibara because that is kind of doable to me at least and a nice match up of 2 ground guys both undefeated, see that's a great match up all because you remembered about Lovato competing last year they probably don't have the time now to put it together but
someone should start a thread on here and push for that fight in Rizin.

Honestly. I wish RIZIN would quit fucking around and get the heavier weight classes going.

I live about 1 1/2 miles from Lovato's gym, have a mind to go down there just to float him this idea. Legit.

Yes 100% agree with you, I could understand them putting on shows with a bunch of lighter weight Japanese fighters during covid but now they can get foreigners over there so what is the excuse for rotating the same bunch of lighter fighters over and over again.

I went back on wikipedia just to reminisce on the early Rizin events and was blown away by how amazing they were and it was made up of many different fighters from around the world and all the weight classes were included along with HW tournaments that produced huge stars, Jiri,Vadim are just a couple of the great talents that came out of those early events they need to start doing that again like soon.
 
Goddammit, Philip. I was really looking forward to that fight.

In other news, Kimura got popped for PEDs in RIZIN lololololol. Times are a'changin'.
