PBP RIZIN 50: Naoki Inoue vs. Yuki Motoya ***Sherdog Discussion*** 3/29 10:30PM ET

Watched most of this last night.

Really wanted Motoya and Suzuki to win. Both fought admirably.

Shuya Kimura moved to 5-0 with 5 straight 1 minute KOs. Dude looks powerful.

Ito's performance was very surprising. He looked great in there upsetting Laramie.

Shunta Nomura seemed like a decent athlete, but I think he has a ceiling.

Ed Polo King looked bad.

Didn't watch the Carlyle fight. Did he actually lose, or did he only lose the decision because of the weight miss?

He probably lost, since it would've been a NC in case he won.
Does japan have point rules also? Like... A fighter starts with deducted points due to weight miss?

I've seen it. Kyung Ho Kang's loss to Andrew Leone is recorded as a "technical" decision loss because Kyung Ho Kang missed weight. He otherwise dominated the fight.

Timestamp of him getting yellow carded to start the fight.

Never saw this event but looks like the Japanese beat the foreigners, so surprised Laramie lost he looked very dominant last time.

He caught an ass whooping against Ito. Laramie kept coming forward the whole fight but Ito was just way sharper and dropped him multiple times. Was a great scrap overall. That fight and the Suzuki/Dautbek fight were both bangers.

Thanks for the summary the entire event looks good judging from the results. Really excited to hear Rizin is having a HW GP sometime in 2025 and a fly weight I think not sure about that but still this is great news, I'm gonna start watching Rizin regularly now.

You should watch the event, might still be free on their website. Was exceptional, maybe just a notch below RIZIN 43
