He was my age, 33. Far too young. Tragic.

Our Sherbro Gregolian passed away yesterday early in the morning. I know I don’t post here much these days, but I met Greg here on Sherdog and have been gaming with him in our destiny clan for years.
Seriously solid guy. Very unexpected. Terrible shame.
Rest In Peace Greg. See you on the other side.

We don’t have much to go on. He talked of pneumonia like symptoms (negative covid test) a few days ago, but it didn’t seem all that bad.

So we really don’t know anything, hoping @StabbyMcHatchet logs back in to let us know.

Greg was an active poster tho, and this much time away I don’t think I’ve ever seen him make. We’ve found his Facebook and Job’s pages and are waiting to see if any updates there.

I did for a long time, and now my life is good while guys like Greg end up losing theirs. I don't even feel like I deserve any of the blessings I've been given. Stuff like this...it doesn't seem fair.

Ditto. I am very fortunate to have the life I have and I take no credit for it whatsoever, honestly. I felt the same as you after the loss of my friend last November. But in a way I feel it may dishonor their memory if I don't make the most of my good fortune and enjoy it as much as I can.

Yeah man. Really not a bad bone in his ample body. I always say no one likes everybody (usually to feel better when someone doesn't like me) but I can't imagine anyone not liking Greg. And the work he did. Amazing he handled it so well. It must have been extremely difficult at times.

I miss him a lot already.

A few more thoughts as my heart dropped when I saw the news last night, didn’t really have the words.

Greg and I weren’t very close, we were opposites on a lot, he leaned right, I lean left, he was primarily an Xbox guy, I’m a Sony guy, he was NFC, I’m AFC, etc. But I can’t remember a single time he and I had it out. Greg was a pretty amicable dude, not an overly opinionated asshole like myself so we didn’t clash much on stuff.

In the NFL threads he’d go off on one of his profanity filled rants and I’d often be there to hit him with a “Settle down, Greg.” To which he’d refuse and carry on.

Even though he and I weren’t the closest, you learn a lot about people who are active members of this community. Over a decade of direct or indirect communications equals a whole lot. He was probably the most frequent poster in the WEADYN threads, he’d share some random life updates in the NFL thread. It was always good to see him moving up and along.

His absence will not go unnoticed.
