The Dude is solid, a truly great album of it's time. The MJ fans try to say MJ did his own best songs (very true) but Quincy took those diamonds and polished them to make them better. MJ was a brilliant songwriter, he brought the bulk of songs like Billy Jean, Wanna Be Startin' Something, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, but it was Quincy who added horn charts, strings and brought in the best studio people, mixers, engineers and musicians. The fans don't like to hear it but Quincy made great songs and great albums greater.
