RIP Bo Nickal hype train

Bo was kind of set up to fail. Maybe UFC didn't like his last performance or he's a douche in negotiations but RDR was a massive step up. Reindeer is probably a legit Top 15-20 MW in the world.

If it was anyone else, sure, but Bo was hyped. He had expectations, and he disappointed last fight and utterly failed in this fight, and those are his step ups in competition. He will have to do a lot for his name to mean anything other than a failed hypejob, and I have been supporting him the whole time and hoped he would be as special as the ufc and he had been saying.

Something probably happened to make UFC change course. No idea what but they definitely knew Bo was likely about to get fucked up.
 
Either Bo had something wrong before the match, or he needs to wake up now and find a top school and start fighting more because De ridder has outclassed him in everything. Even I am not a pro fighter but I know how dangerous Dutch fighters are with kickboxing, lowlicks and knees.
 
Apart from not being able to take shots or defend clinch work, he looks weak. Probably should drop a weight class.
 
He never looked like anything special against cans and now he faced a better guy and he looked like a guy who didn't even want to fight.

Everyone is delusional in this game but Bo "I can beat the top 5 today" Nickal was just ridiculous.

His nuthuggers may be worse. I don't know what the fuck they saw in him. If he was magically going to start looking like a world beater out of nowhere? "He's green, let him build slowly"

Khamzat was green when he entered the UFC, he had around 2,5 years of MMA training at that point but you could immediately tell this guy was going to be a problem for a lot of people. Bo never showed anything like that.
 
He's not a fighter who can take damage and keep going, he's a just a very good athlete.

His timid point-fighting vs a shot Craig hinted at it, this proves it.

He just doesn't have the aggression and ferocity to get in a war, which is very needed to compete at the top of the division.

Guys he thought were easy fights (DDP, Khamzat, etc) are just on a completely different level, especially their willingness to actually fight and look for the finish.

lol, probably what Belal normally does. What would someone like Malykhin do to these UFC hype jobs?! Dude is probably juiced to the grills but look how helpless RDR looked against him. ☠️
 
Yea, anyone who ever did muay thai with taller guy, knows that thoose kinda knees just take a life out of you... When i get clinched like that i always roll on the side or look for a trip. Bo will be good if he only envolve and fight like what he is, wrestler
