RIP Bo Nickal hype train

Bo was kind of set up to fail. Maybe UFC didn't like his last performance or he's a douche in negotiations but RDR was a massive step up. Reindeer is probably a legit Top 15-20 MW in the world.

I'd go further than that. He's probably top 5 right now.

This guy was a champion in ONE. Only has lost to one guy at heavyweight (twice).

He's also fucking massive and I dont understand how he makes 185.

He doesnt have what it takes, when he was getting tapped up along the fence and looked as if he was going to cry, we all knew the end was near.

I'm glad Bo lost, but you casuals with the "He quit" talk like you've never seen a liver shot KO before.

His body language and face expressions showed that he didn't want to be in there way before that. The last knee was brutal yes but he wanted out of that fight way before that last knee landed.

More like Faux Nickal amirite?

Bo seems small for that weight class. De Ridder and Craig looked alot bigger then him.

The thing is, he quit before that
Nah, I disagree.

RDR was destroying his body all through the first round as well, and hurt him bad to the body in that round too. I think it was clear Bo hadn't conditioned his body to take that kind of punishment. He tried to fight through, but he just had no answers.

What did you think when you first saw Khamzat? Just curious.

I thought he looked like the real deal, in the sense that anyone without very solid wrestling or at least tdd would be screwed against him, although I thought he was more of a straight wrestler, did not realize how good his overall grappling is.

I thought he could be exposed by bad matchups, and I would've considered moving up to 185 and fighting Whittaker to be an example of a matchup that would kill him, so while I realized he was good I did severely underestimate him.

His body language looked like shit because RDR had been dissecting his liver with knees since early in the first round.

After sleeping on it. Embarassing performance but also not going to hinder Bo if he can use it.

No one else besides Khazmat is really going to pose the problems RDR does for Bo and he was huge in comparison.

Bo will bounce back with the right training adjustments and RDR is going to keep rolling. Not many at 185 are better

or myb a novice has sent to fight a nightmare matchup whose prob a top 5 guy material bo will be back
No. He’s not gonna be back. He isn’t that good. Reminds of that one dude that won tuf. Also blonde and went out getting his ass whooped a bunch of times.

this, he definitely looks dwarfed half the time. i'm wondering how easy / hard it would be for him to cut down? has he ever said anything about it?

seemed totally unprepared for a fight against someone with a heavy clinch game
also he clearly doesn't like being hit

It's good to see a more humble and accomplished fighter like RDR get his due shine, but it's really weird how many of you guys rejoice in someone's failure. Kicking ppl while theyre down is real loser & cowardly mentality.

I hope Bo is humbled from this and comes back better. MW could definitely use someone in the rankings that isn't 35+ years old.
