RIP Bo Nickal hype train

The problem with Bo is lack of development. He came into the UFC pre-maturely after only 1 professional fight. He didn’t spend any time in the regional scene honing his skills and the inexperience caught up to him.

Also, he might have leaned too heavily on his amateur wrestling pedigree and neglected rounding out the other parts of his game.

It’s arrogance. He thought because the Dagestanis are dominating the sport with their wrestling base he could do the same. What he failed to understand is that most of the Dagis have years of combat sambo (basically mma) experience before they ever start the professional mma careers. The others have extensive amateur mma careers. It’s pure arrogance on his part.
 
When was the last time a high profile fighter folded to a knee like Bo?
 
I hope Trump signs an EO tomorrow banning Dutch fighters from entering the United States. No red blooded American should be subjected to such savagery, it's a miracle Bo is even alive right now.
 
Nickal got knee'd one or 2 good times and called it quits! When he got put on his back the 1st round just by the look on his face you knew he wanted out! Just becuase your a wrestler doesnt mean your a fighter !Watching him stand n scrap you can tell Bo is scared to get hit. Everytime a shot comes his way he winches and closes his eyes. At this level of fighting you should not be doing that! Fear cripples his ability for any effective offense, there so many holes in his game. Theres no offensive wrestling like Khamzet or the Dagi Boys. Bo wrestles like Josh Koschek , it's all defensive / lay n pray wrestling!
Honestly Bo is this era's Josh Koschek . Maybe he'll get the title push 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

At one point Bo looked like he was gearing up to hit the butterfly stroke in a pool. But it was just an elbow attempt from the top. Unconventional methods that's for sure

Maybe you're right. However, a hard knee to the liver or to the ribs will end a fight.
