I remember someone made a thread asking which celebrity death are you dreading the most, probably several threads like that actually, and Alex Trebek was always that for me. Knew it was coming but it still sucks.

I knew someone who had pancreatic cancer. they went from a healthy 30 year old to dead in 6 months.

I had a relative die from it also in about 6 months from when they found it. There is a woman that runs a hardware store that had it in 2008 that is still alive. It's rare to survive very long. The 5 year survival rate is only 7% because most of the time it has spread to other organs before it is found.
