Nothing these neanderthals learn will stop their behavior from continuing. If the kid had an AK-47 and a pocket full of heroine they'll just claim the cop only stopped them because they were black.

This will end in the cop having to move and change his name just to keep from getting murdered by a bunch of thugs, even if proven that he was completely in the right. There is no useful solution in this situation.

Equally as shitty as the looting is the militarization of police departments. Unreal what these anti terrorism grants allow them to have. After seeing all of those AR15s in those pictures, it help reinforce that the only way Ill give up my guns is if the police give up theirs.

You might want to tone down the racism.

I'm not talking about people protesting and mourning the loss of a young man. I'm talking about these lunatics looting stores with firearms and people like the black panther birthers showing up. They don't have a shred of decency -- they will always cry foul no matter the facts and use situations like this to justify their behavior.

It has to do with RACE being used as a scapegoat for unacceptable behavior -- nothing to do with racism on my part.

edit: sorry if it appeared that I was being racist. I think it's telling that you have to write a disclaimer of apology any time you question the behavior of members of the black community, though.

The problem with militarization of police is that it makes sense on paper to minimize injury to the police force, show a strong front and hopefully quell the will of opposition to produce violence.

It also coincides with a tyrannical police state forming, so that is something else to watch out for.

It seems the divide between civilians and the police is becoming more and more 'us vs them'. This just creates more and more problems as the police and civilians cooperate less and mistrust each other more.
