there's other fighters who you could tell weren't the same, Vitor after his sisters kidnapping, Kang after his fiance or wife killed herself. Sometimes stuff like that completely changes a person, it seems like it did for Rickson as well and he seemed like as mentally strong of a person as you would find in the sport.
