I agree that most people feel differently, not wanting to die is instinct. I'd probably do the same or want the same in the moment.
I just think the actual punishment suffered is worse with life without parole. He's a young guy, that's a long time to waste away.
Yeah I understand.. but it seems like a lot of these guys do find fulfillment through many years in prison.. whether it is through religious texts or services, many do seem to find a reason to live. To the normal man it would seem like wasting away, however to them, they do still find joy in some things that they get to do.. its not like they are trapped in a 4 walled room with no windows or visitation all day long. Now THAT would be serious punishment.
