Elections RFK Selected as United States Secretary of Health and Human Services

@Rob Battisti

JULIE GERBERDING, DR., CDC DIRECTOR: "Well, you know, I don't have all the facts because I still haven't been able to review the case files myself [Hannah Pohling case- Google it]. But my understanding is that the child has a -- what we think is a rare mitochondrial disorder. And children that have this disease, anything that stresses them creates a situation where their cells just can't make enough energy to keep their brains functioning normally. Now, we all know that vaccines can occasionally cause fevers in kids. So if a child was immunized, got a fever, had other complications from the vaccines. And if you're predisposed with the mitochondrial disorder, it can certainly set off some damage. Some of the symptoms can be symptoms that have characteristics of autism."

Apologies for the shit source, I can’t seem to track down the actual interview on YouTube. It was with Sanjay Gupta on CNN.
What part of "rare mitochondrial disorder" makes you think this is a justification for vaccine hesitancy?

How about an actual source for all these claims?

Also,

It’s all nonsense. Confounders are a major concern for false positive (spurious) associations. It is far less likely that missed confounding variables lead to a false negative and mask the presence of an association between causally connected variables. The strength of the association can be influenced, but in a large population, it is exceedingly unlikely that it vanishes. A more common source is inappropriate stats, like adjusting for a variable you shouldn’t (e.g., colliders or mediators). Large retrospective epidemiological studies are by far the best way to assess safety.

Dude thinks he's John Kellogg now.
Synthesizing his Adventist beliefs with his scientific and medical knowledge, Kellogg created his idea of "biologic living".[15] This was the idea that appropriate diet, exercise, and recreation was required to maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. As such, the policies and therapies at the Battle Creek Sanitarium were very much in line with these principles of biologic living, such as the focus on vegetarianism or drinking 8–10 glasses of water a day.[83]

What a fuckin kook!!

Kellogg was an absolute kook, 100%.

Guy was obsessed with the idea that everyone's problem was they were too horny. Never copulate with his own wife. And made devices to keep men from becoming sexually aroused. CBT enthusiast and likely an angry closeted homosexual.

Man…. It really does seem like Wilhelm Reich was onto something with these guys and their sexual insecurity.

My vaccine hesitancy stems from the fact that vaccine makers were granted immunity from liability in the 1980’s after being sued into oblivion due to vaccine side effects, plus the fact that my child experienced a febrile seizure and ongoing seizures after the MMR, which despite being one of the the most studied vaccinations, remains embarrassingly understudied when it comes to safety.

“Authors' conclusions: The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate.”

Although I must admit, the fact that the director of the CDC acknowledged that vaccines actually DO “trigger” autism in some individuals, despite the incessant reporting that that “vaccines don’t cause autism” might also lead some people to be hesitant to vaccinate… I can’t say I’d blame them.

So work camps...

Yeah I mean, they're definitely labor/internment camps. I also like the term "reparented."

Sounds like "wellness" to me.
You guys are hilarious.

I think we should go the Portland route and legalize all drugs but ban Narcan.
