Nothing wrong with a little plush for the push.
Honest to fuck, Rob, just go back to my post and look for the part that begins with "the point is" and then go from there. I have no time for deliberately obtuse crap today. Was mine not? I mean, wtf dude you said he should be punched in the face. Was that your point? You made an irrelevant point about not experiencing withdrawal on prescription medication.
You made three comments, I responded to each respectively. You’re just being lazy, which is fine.
He should get a punch in the face for suggesting he knows better than a doctor whether an individual should be on them or not.
Speaking for myself I've never had a serious side effect weaning off any prescribed medication. Most people don't.
Your last sentence is irrelevant. We're not talking about what the average person thinks except in as much as bullshit like this negatively affects them. He should be able to speak on these things accurately and clearly to hold his position. I'm not claiming you disagree with that; just wondering why you're making excuses for him with this comment, or so it appears to me.
No, just mostly. The issue is the misrepresentation of the potential problem, not whether or not there is one. There are side effects and withdrawal symptoms with all kinds of medications that nevertheless do more good than harm (with few if any alternative treatments) and to represent otherwise is fucking shitty.

Sigh. I was clear about my point. I'll leave it at that. Make of it what you want.

He’s clearly not okay. The mental health stuff is forgivable, but it’s hard to empathize with him when he’s always a dickYeah except all the posts I was engaging with you on never had a “the point is” in any of them.
You okay?
This time I don’t even know what I said wrong. I agreed with him and then expanded on big pharma being bad. He’s clearly not okay. The mental health stuff is forgivable, but it’s hard to empathize with him when he’s always a dick
The supplement industry would be a great target for scrutiny. It’s under regulated
That brain damaged screwball being in power in the government.@Andy Capp i sincerely do not know what is setting you off. I agreed he shouldn’t have said it’s addictive. What has you so upset?
I beg your pardon; I should have said, "the issue is" instead, to wit,Yeah except all the posts I was engaging with you on never had a “the point is” in any of them.
You okay?
Do you think that distinction is significant? Fine, substitute "the issue is". What does that change? The issue is no one who would spout such bullshit should have his position and that he does is a crime perpetrated against the American people by the President, complicit members of The Congress, and the people who voted for them. No, just mostly. What's upsetting normal human beings is a fucking nutjob is in charge of the HHS.....This time I don’t even know what I said wrong. I agreed with him and then expanded on big pharma being bad.
Remember when Reagan shut down the mental health system? Good times. If they just start cutting off people's mental health meds we are going to be in a world of hurt. Crime and ER usage will spike I promise.
This Kennedy guy is nuts, seems to be basing this opinions on hunches and dubious internet research.

Take a breath. I mean this sincerely, nothing RFK does has an impact on you. Relax.Do you think that distinction is significant? Fine, substitute "the issue is". What does that change? You responded with, "...the average American doesn't know the difference...." You don't think that's excuse-making? What is it, then?
Take a breath. I mean this sincerely, nothing RFK does has an impact on you. Relax.
I'm fine. I addressed your earlier comment. Nothing more.Take a breath. I mean this sincerely, nothing RFK does has an impact on you. Relax.
For clarification, are you saying that because Andy is Canadian, or are you saying the Director of HHS doesn’t do anything that directly affects Americans?Take a breath. I mean this sincerely, nothing RFK does has an impact on you. Relax.
As a Canadian, I think he is overreacting to this to an incredible degree. You’d think RFK was throwing minority Muslims into prison camps and forcing labor. It’s a mother jones article that touches on the over prescription of SSRIs and RFKs thought that exercise, nutrition and being outside can help with depression. Clinically speaking, it can.For clarification, are you saying that because Andy is Canadian, or are you saying the Director of HHS doesn’t do anything that directly affects Americans?
I think it’s perfectly valid to be upset at injustices or whatnot that don’t directly affect a person. It’s totally valid to be upset with something on principle.
