YepGroundbreaking stuff here.
YepGroundbreaking stuff here.
Glover has good takedowns and his top game is some of the best at 205. I think his defensive grappling is worse than his offense. Both Davis and Corey outgrappled him.Do you disagree with Glover having some of the best grappling in the division? Because Davis grapplefucked him too. I mean Phil is probably the best grappler in the whole division... I don't get what your point is supposed to be.
That was 5 years ago. Not 1/2..
Should've gotten Carrot Top to play the IT clown, wouldn't even need much make up.Karl must be related to Carrot top in some way.

Karl is a very good LHW probably top 20 in the world with some of the best grappling in the division too. He had Jiri in a whole lot of trouble.

Now this was 4 1/2 years ago but Jiri has been fighting a lot of strikers since then and his bottom game and TDD haven't been tested much. Reyes who was rocked bad got him down but his grappling is shit so it didn't matter and Jiri got back up. Glover's threat there opens up his hooks too like when he hurt Jan before getting him down.
If Glover gets on top of Jiri he has one of the best top games ever @ LHW and Jiri will get finished IMO. Or beaten up so bad he's a corpse in there like Smith was after the beating he took.
I totally agree. I wouldn't be surprized if Glover will be better on the feet than Jiri. Glover sure is a better boxer, but Jiri has been so far successful with his wild and risky approach to the striking and he sure can KO people. It will be an interesting fight..i don't know why everyone seems to count Glover out on the feet. his left hook is still good and he has good timing. Jiri's defense is built of rhythmic head movement instead of reactive.
