Immigration isn't a top 3 priority of mine so it doesn't play a major roll in decision making. That's just what I hope will happen regardless of who is in office. Neither party actually wants to fix immigration. That's why we're still talking about it since Reagan was in office. Because of this, "Every bill designed to do those things" has portions that are purposely included to to prevent them from being passed. The fact that you brought this up leaves me with two conclusions: You were either unaware that immigration bills are purposely designed to fail so that they can blame the opposing party for not passing them or you're just repeating partisan talking points. Lose/lose for you either.

2. Repeal criminal laws democrats put to remove voter ID. You need ID to buy alcohol, but not vote? Stop the democrat cheating.

No, this is a common narrative parroted primarily by Republicans since Reagan when confronted with their own blatant obstructionism. Even a Senator as partisan and gross as Ted Cruz couldnt elaborate on the "things in the bill" he voted against when it came to immigration reform, because the fact of the matter is that immigration isnt used as a political cudgel by both sides, it's used by one side and they hardly ever even read the bills before objecting to them on their face. The claim that every bill since Reagan was "designed to fail" is not only egregious bullsh*t, but it's just excusatory of partisan nonsense as Republicans constantly pack their own bills. I like immigrants from all over bud. Not just those that get here by land connection. There has to be some balance to it all. The line is long and there are many worse places than those in central and south america. My coworker is from India and they actually resist countries if we have a lot of immigrants from those (according to her) she may have to go back. Its all a balance

Outside of criminality it's impossible to do. I just don't see how you go to a country you don't know. Obv a 70 yr old man who's been here 40-50 years may be similar. I have worked with many from Japan to ethiopia. I'm good with most every country as long as they are productive and contributors. I just know they DO prioritize some like Nepal which has a lower representation than India. But I love other cultures and enjoy getting to know them which is why I've learned bits of many languages through friendships.
