Typical Hillary tactic. They did something similar with Bernie during the primaries, the Clinton camp invented the phrase Berniebros and insinuated at every turn that Bernie supporters were sexist. Because not blindly supporting the candidate with a vagina means you hate women. There's no dirty tactic her campaign hasn't liked.

Yep, this looks like a standard Twitter spambot retweeting a lame MRA "joke" to me

Spambots tweet about trending topics because they're trying to get clicks. But Crooked Hillary will bend the laws of economics and even physics in her quest for power, so absolute concern is warranted here.
 
I laughed when my GF linked me to a buzzfeed article about this. Had to explain to her why it was no big deal. I figured it was just people trolling to get the hashtag going. Didn't think of it as some conspiracy to make Trump supporters look bad. Someone probably started this with bots for the lulz.

Last I checked it barely broke 50k tweets which doesn't seem much considering almost all the tweets I saw were with that hashtag were people complaining about it.
 
I get that the Clinton machine needs to push for female voter turnout, but I don't think this will be all that effective towards that goal. Shes got trump as an opponent, he will do the work for her.
 
Definitely shady, but I think some of the blame has to be on Trump for letting his campaign become a place where such rhetoric sounds par for the course. Twitter is a cesspool to begin with, every time the news quotes a tweet, even Trump's, my stomach twitches.

It does, but only to the extent that the voting populous allow themselves to be manipulated. The real issue with our democracy is that the uneducated, easily manipulated far outnumber the educated voter.

Any actual posts/blogs etc on it all seem to refer back to Nate Silver's post about Trump winning the election if only men voted.
The "outrage" tweets seem to vastly outnumber those actually promoting the idea, a lot of which seem to be your typical alt-right troll (Deplorable #...., Julius Ebola etc).
 
Finally a hashtag I can get behind.
 
Did anyone here complain when #trumpwon swept twitter after the first debate... and they were all posted in Russia?

No they obviously shouldn't.

Women are also terrible drivers, we should repeal their right to drive.
Also, everybody knows women in education is like having a donkey do calculus, to quote Frank Reynolds. So we should ban them from getting an education.

Fuck it, might as well cover them up so they can't seduce random men and provoke unsolicited sexing.
