So, the 19th Amendment is what gives women the right the vote and is what made all efforts to prevent them from doing so, to be declared illegal.

And it just so happened that polling data released today, convieniently, says that if only men were allowes to vote, Trump would win a 35-state landslide.

So, a shitload of Trumpsters started tweeting #RepealThe19th in an effort gain support for action to repeal the 19th Amendment, and allow only MEN to vote on November 8th.





Honest question - Does this pass anyone's smell test?

First impression, did you personally buy it?

No embarassment neccessary if you do, because enough idiots on Twitter have retweeted and liked it for it to become, right now, the #1 trending list.


So, let me post the proof that it's bullshit.

Literally THOUSANDS of tweets being sent from accounts with their usernames being same as their @names, all saying letter-for-letter the exact same thing, at the exact same time.

So, I looked one of them up, the one listed at the top of the previous screenshot and...

Practically no followers, very few followings (probably other bots) and no likes or retweets of their own messages.

100% confirmed - Twitter HillBots tweet 'Some Trump Supporters Demand #RepealThe19th' in an effort to defame their opposition as 'sexist.'

And there's hardly any tweets calling the bullshit out.

Expect this to seep its way into the headlines tomorrow, like CNN and the NYT.

I don't really have a problem with it though. Manufactured viral social media is a game that every industry is playing these days. The times they get caught just underscores how often we probably never catch on.

Seems pretty pointless. Trump supporters are such blind loyalists they deny, excuse, ignore or deflect literally everything negative he has ever done. Ive even seen a Trump spokesman justify Trump defending Bills accusers and attacking those same women he brought as props to the second debate. He said it was just someone being "loyal and defending a friend".. but attacking his wife is fair game because she defended her husband... its a justification that is beyond retarded.

There are plenty of negative things about Hillary and I dont deny them. Instead, id rather read the facts and evidence to determine whether its as bad as the right says, and it falls under bad but completely overblown, full of assumptions with no evidence or outright bullshit.
