Nitro got ktfo on an episode when he was trying to tackle a real nfl running back on the show.

I remember that pretty clearly. It happened in the football mini game, where they had to get through Gladiators and score. The dude ran over everyone. I think his name was Carl Williams. There was some other contestant, had long hair, named Billy something, he was a stuntman, almost got into a fistfight with one of the gladiators. !980's American Gladiators was the shit!

I always liked her too. She had a pretty successful bodybuilding and fitness career before and after American Gladiators. Sadly though, she committed suicide back in like 2007 I think.

Back in the day (at least where I live) deaf people learned to read lips and to speak.
My exes, both parents are deaf. The mother speaks normal and there are almost no trace of her being deaf.
My understanding is its politics and deaf people should be able to be deaf and not try to fit in.
deaf should be able to be deaf and not be forced into this.

I am making it a bit more black and white than it is.

But at the time there was a lot of politics with in the deaf community. In some cases almost militant.
