kind of tough. he is young and probably didn't expect it to blow up like it did. as far as i know, he also never fingered anybody as suspect...so there was nobody directly harmed. he should be put on some sort of shit duty, but don't strip him of his future.

Yeah, pretty much any time someone reports some racist graffiti, a poop swastika, writes "you n*gger" on a receipt, or leaves a letter saying "we don't want blacks in our neighborhood", it's basically always a hoax. Even actual racists don't actively seek out people to hate or threaten.

No, he should be stripped of his future in the military at least. We have enough shitbag officers. We don’t need anymore. The military doesn’t owe anybody a spot. It can cut anybody who can’t comform to the standard.
