Guy is a true martial artist, a great champion, humble outside the cage and an absolute destroyer inside the cage. Went to war with the monster Romero, who else can say that? Give the man his respect.

War Whittaker, true champion and ruler of 185.

Glad Whittaker got the win. The division can move on.

Yoel should just go up and fight Gus so he doesn't miss weight again.

Yeah usually when Yoel blitz's people they don't survive, and Romero is easily one of the best MWs of all time. So is Whittaker i think, but he doesn't have the resume Romero does.

He went through those four rounds with a broken hand too. Imagine having an outside striking gameplan but you have to move in even closer to land elbows because your hand is fucked, against a guy that fast and powerful.

How the hell Rob survived the 3rd, we'll never know.

The 5th made me realize that his ability to recover is god-tier,

He lost. He got knocked around the cage.

The champion prevails, he had to take a bit of a beating to retain his title but that’s what champions do. Respect, who’s next?

And the dude fought 4 rounds without the use of his right hand along with it. Warrior.

His jab game is on a gsp level, that's what won him the fight. The fact he can exert so much control on an opponent like romero while injured is crazy. too bad it's probably gonna be another year off with injury
