I've never seen a cut start bleeding that much that quickly in a fight. Perhaps it was a good thing for him though. May have saved him from another concussion.

At certain points he did well against them but the problem Reem always has is that when he learns one skill set he loses another, if he had the grappling of his LHW days, the clinch fighting ability of his Uber days and the long range striking of his Econo days he'd be a beast of a fighter.

Love him or hate him you can't deny that he's humble in defeat and never gives up. It's not the first time he's been put down in his career but he never gave up.

I always thought he'd have it in him to get the UFC belt at some point in his career, a bit like Bisping who finally got it after so many years trying. But at this stage I really can't see it happening, even though I'm sure he can definitely have a few more wins before retiring.

Also I disagree he has only a couple of fights left. Maybe he is done at the highest level against young guys but he could go to Russia or Bellator and still compete for a long time.

I ever enjoy see Overeem getting beated up, but i really respect his will

I ever seen peoples saying he got bully mentality being strong only on the offensive, but reality is many fighters quitted from the game with 1/10 of the beatings he took lol

Overeem is a great example of the difference that glove size can make in a fight. He was an absolute killer in K1 when he could protect himself with big gloves. Unfortunately for him, he gets hit too often with small gloves and he can’t take a shot too well.
