You've gotta be impressed by his determination and never-quit attitude, regardless of whether you like him or not. A true fighter's fighter.

I think he has maybe one more fight in him. but if in his next fight he doesn't steamroll the can that he will be matched up with or gets KO'ed, it's retirement for him. from his own words, the day that his performances aren't up to par, he should retire

Reem is great. A true old school warrior. Feels bad seeing him finished again.

REEM GETS KNOCKED DOWN

BUT HE GETS UP AGAIN

AND YOU'RE NEVER GONNA KEEP HIM DOWN

I'm guessing he fights that guy
who drinks out of dirty shoes next

Part of me wants to review FightFinder to see how many times he's been KOed.

It's like driving past a car accident, you don't want to look but can't help it.

That's actually a winnable fight for Reem. Tuivasa didn't look impressive at all against Arlovski and couldn't put him away, despite catching him cleanly several times.

Don't do it Alistair. Just quit. Start a gym, do seminars in Asia. There are multiple ways to make money without getting ktfo.

I’m not really enjoying the new breed of wrestleheavy fighters. I get it. These new guys are facing tough veterans and have to secure the victory to maintain momentum, but man, I just wish we could have some other paths to victory other than smothering until the opponent is bored/tired.

He’s been KOd so many times. It’s time for ubereem to hang em up.

Maybe he has one fight left on his contract. He want to see if through so can morph into UBEREEM and head over to japan. He can’t just retire and go else where

He's taken a lot of head trauma over the years... I wonder what he's going to be like 10 years from now?

At some point you need to think of your health and your life after the sport. Maybe it would be best for him to retire. He seems to be the nail rather than the hammer more often than not lately.

He looks a lot slower than he was. He obviously doesn't have the confidence anymore after being knocked out so many times.

I hated the Reem at one time. But I must admit he is a smooth dude and has been in some tremendous scraps.

He's a dummy, he won't retire until half his brain is hanging off...

I miss fighters like Overeem. Because guys like him represent the old school era when we had more specialists.

Like Overeem is known for being a kickboxing specialist. Alot of the times now we have guys who are not known for anything special in particular, just well roundedness.

And I find when we get these specialist fighters. They often use rarer and often more diverse techniques which can be fun to watch.

Like Reem is known for his body kicks and vicous knees. He landed a decent knee against Blaydes one time which hurt him a bit.

But I want to see more fighters develop their game so it's not all the same basic shit.

It's part of the evolving "meta" of the sport.
In time there will come ways around smothering wrestlers, and after the wrestlers will learn to bypass that and so on.
In any case Blaydes is not really all that safe of a wrestler. I recommend you watch his fantastic war against hunt were he pulled off some fancy takedowns and displayed chin heart and a few things more
