There is nothing that says time spent learning a craft HAS to equate to more money. The market drives salaries. If you spend 10 years playing WOW or COD, you are not "owed" a six figure salary based upon your time spent on those endeavors.
The answer is zero. Zero dollars. For the record.
Im wutting you saying it was gracious of them to pay the fighters at all. This isnt charity. Why should the fighters wear Reebok for free? The bigger point of this is not even on Reebok, but the UFC payouts of the deal. Many fighters have said they are earning less now than they were before.

The reasoning of a miserable prick. They picked the career and signed the contracts
Precisely. This is a portion of their overall pay. The shared numbers seem more than reasonable, given what we know about pro-athlete pay and fighter-pay, in general.

Not bad for a job that requires no education.
uh 0hm, you were being serious??Those numbers seem solid. Good on Reebok.
I've shat shit more solid while sick with diarrhea than these numbers. Shame on Reebok. Shame on Zuffa. Shame on you. Those numbers seem solid. Good on Reebok.
That is absurd. If Condit is pulling in near 500k a year, he is doing more than well for a pro-athlete and pro-fighter, dwarfing the salaries of most of his peers. Condit is not a champion, nor has he ever been one in the UFC. He is a top 3 guy in his weight-class and his salary more than reflects that.
and i dont understand this, not bad for a job that requires no education?? condit had years of martial arts training before even starting to competing in mma, he trains a lot EVERY DAY and mastered his craft. if this isnt fucking education, just cause its not a formal one, what the fuck is education
i mean, condits numbers arent THAT BAD, but when you put into perspective how long hes fighting, a great fighter like him, that for sure made some nice profits for the ufc, that made a lot of people fan of fighting, 30k is actually laughable. not only that but he probably made AT LEAST more than 100k fighitng. i mean, fucking SCHAUB was making 100k to fight ONLY in sponsors
never a champion? Dudes has held the WEC title and held a UFC interim Title...... How can you be against fighters making more money???? I could understand if the company was in the red each year, but they're not. They're making 100s of millions yearly. I'm not saying every fighter should be making 50 million a year, but a fighter with Condit's history and career should easily be making 500/500 per fight plus another 100k per fight sponsors.
Look at the NFL, way more guys than fighters in the UFC. They split the profits nearly 50/50.
If the UFC is making 500 million per year and split it 50% profit share EVENLY between all fighters on the roster, each fighter would get a lil over 450k each in profit sharing. How's that not fair. There's no UFC without the fighters, and after over 20 years of not sharing any profit with the fighters I think it's time.
how the fuck is that solid given the fact that they all made WAY more before reebokYou are illusioned if you think martial arts training (dirt cheap) compares to formal education (incredibly expensive) in any practical manner. Massive debt is mandated for modern students thus career positions ought to pay a salary that reflects relative debt. If you fail to see the difference, then I am not sure what else to say to you on this matter.
30k just to put on the uniform is very solid, especially when you consider relative wages of pro-athletes and pro-fighters.
I am not against fighters making more money. I am just not confused about the market, like many/most of you are. You have no idea how much of that "100s of millions yearly" goes to keeping the lights on, marketing, and the like, so do not act like they are paying out chump change. We know they are not, relatively speaking.
