Yup. Also he said Cain should have tested JDS's cardio cause it was questionable. It just further proves what I think, no fighter is above the UFC brand. Thats why Dana will build up and tear down any fighter he wishes. I guarantee that if Chuck would have went to another rival org and finished his career, Dana would have been blasting the shit out of him.
Dana just says what he honestly thinks. I like it. Chuck's a great example. Dana could've still sold Chuck fights, he could've talked about how Chuck was beating Rich and had his arm broken before the KO, that Chuck's still a top fighter, and he could've sold a couple more big PPVs with Chuck.
But that's not what he said and did. What he said was: "Chuck's done." And he retired him. That's proof right there that Dana is just being honest, and when he questions one guy's abilities he's saying what we're all thinking. Also, when he praises one guy, that doesn't really mean he's saying anything towards that guy's opponent. I think Gil is reading way to much into Dana's (entirely justified) praise of Diego. Especially when you praise a guy's toughness, aren't you just acknowledging that the other guy gave him a beating? I mean does Dana even have to say Gil gave Diego a beating? Everyone already knows.
