Payak/NidNoi/Celestial Kid/Brock.
Payak was an Aussie, Brock was Flemish, so they were at least 2 people. I kinda miss NidNoi's random Thai mom gifs. This thread is getting kinda hilarious without fight news to keep us on topic.

I was suspecting that this new guy was a troll account made by @jtwarwagon4life at first :D

Then i remembered i've seen him all over youtube and instagram. Seems very unlikey that anybody would go to those lengths lol <45>

I am not saying yo should get kneed in the face , I'm saying that you better not say that to Nak Muay they can really be offended .
Prostitude or "Sopeni" are viewed ( by lots of Thai especially older generation ) as very low in Thai society .
Nak Muay and fighter are some of the most cherished athletes in the Kingdom, Nak and Prostitute shouldn't even be in the same sentence .

If we begin to talk harsh reality you'll find out that it would be no longer possible to talk to anyone as you can criticize or objective any group of people and I assume you are a westerners ( there's a whole lot of things to criticize western nation and people ) so I don't want that crap at all .

Discuss Muay Thai around here but don't go around saying that Thai fighters or people are like that especially when lots of them are nice people who doesn't even want confrontation and malice , I'm sure they wouldn't like you comparing them to prostitute .

You shouldn't be saying things like Thai can fight for cheap or will take any kind of purse without hesitation , it just make me as a Thai look like I and my people were cheap .
I am not angry , I as a Thai am just felling a bit disrespected that you thought so little of us that's all .

To be fair, i was sort of just making semi-ridiculous statements because i thought you might've been a troll account, but now i see you're just new to discussion forum culture. A few years ago we had a guy that was pretending to be Thai on this forum and talking all kinds of nonsense, starting fights with everyone and eventually devolved into petty insults and attacks on regular posters. Along with him we've had our fair share of really over the top ranting characters on this sub-forum over the years(*cough*broadcast*cough*).

I love Thai people, no one loves Thai people more than I do. I'm the Donald Trump of Thai-foreigner relations. I love golden aged mai tais. Delicious.

Yeah I do feel very differently about it .
You think Thai aren't hard negotiators ? You don't know much about stadium or gambling it seems .
Those promoters are some of the hardest negotiator around , you think they will just take anything that they get and not discuss terms or try to be advantageous ?

ONE FC pay the Thai 3-4 more to fight in ONE FC than they do in stadium Muay Thai .

what is your definition of cheap ?

"they tend to be compliant" , "and take whatever pay" .
You serious ? You think Thai are like robotic people who will take anything and accept anything ?

That's having a very low view of people .

It's like if i were to say that "American can only fight with steroids" , how the hell would American feel about this ?

So basically you have no idea of the promoters and gym owners the people who actually make decision to send their fighters to fight in the org/promotions .
You base that view around Thai fighter who fight anyone without first thinking that Thai fighter rarely ever decide their fights ?

You got a poor understanding .
Thai are some of the people who make the most money in KB .

Also the majority of Thai are willing fight anyone because that is what a fighter should be doing ( regardless of their nationalities ) , not getting overrated , build some drama , talk trash , fight bums , hold a fake belt , etc....

Tenshin for example got millions from getting nuked by Floyd in front of the world , I prefer Thai who fight the best in the world and actually become great champion with a legit and not dubious resume .

No one is trying to come at Thai people here man, if anything we are often accused of being biased towards them haha. I think what he meant is that since Thailand is generally more poor than some of its more industrialized neighbors, the purses for an elite Muay Thai card are comparatively lower than to something like a ONE Championship card. Because of the economic disparity between Thai fighters and the athletes coming from wealthier nations, they may take relatively lower purses when they transition to fighting internationally.

All of that being said, I don't know if that is true. I think that is the point he was trying to make, though. No racism, just an observation of classism haha

Funny thing is this guy has a completely different name on every platform and is still easily recognizable.

If he didn't display that weird behavior would trust him about the translations. Now i'm very sceptic. And i would almost trust almost any other poster apart from spacetime LOL

You can ask @esum80 if the subtitles are correct in Thai. I've verified the French ones he translated and they were well translated.

I know all of you guys aren't big fans of ladies fights, but did anyone watch One Championship: Age of Dragons in November and think that Jorina Baars losing to Christina Breuer by split decision in their muay thai fight was one of the biggest robberies we have ever seen? I had time lately to catch up on these cards and that stood out to me. Blemished her undefeated record too. I have no idea how they could have arrived at that decision.

I like girl fights and when I heard about the upset I went to watch it but got bored after a few mins and just assumed it was legit. I consider Jim more credible than the judges so I will now likewise assume you are correct.

Seems like it was kickboxing rules?

Just watched it. Overall, i thought it was close to be fair. IBreuer was landing significant strikes. I've forgotten how they score kickboxing fights. I think in MMA they don't go round-by-round but judge the fight as a whole. In kickboxing, is it round by round?

I thought it was a good fight and that Baars won. It was close, but I didn't think that Breuer did enough to merit a victory. Probably classified as a robbery. It was funny seeing Schiavello speechless (a rare thing) after hyping Baars up the entire fight until they read the score cards.

Correct, their kickboxing and muay thai bouts get scored round by round, not as a whole like MMA bouts.

Because it was kickboxing rules so it comes down to who won the 1st round, and that is debatable. Baars clearly won the 2nd and Breuer won the 3rd when Jorina started slowing down, and since neither was a blowout round it's tied at a round each. So we have the 1st round as the tiebreaker, and it's kickboxing rules which means Breuer's punches & low kicks get weighted more heavily than they would in Muay Thai scoring. It's really close, but I think Breuer landed just enough punches & low kicks to edge out the 1st round.

I didn't score round by round but overall i couldn't really pick a winner. My reasoning was similar to yours. Baars didn't seem to score a lot of effective strikes in the first round.

Also, Bogdan Stoica is back on trainings after long-term inactivity and a very complicated surgery to remove bone hands after motorcycle accident in the past. There are rumors in Romania he will re-start in ONE, alongside his brother who is already there. Hopefully he will fight gradually since he will be rusty.

Ahh, his name just came to me now. Payak. Anyone remember that guy?

of course!

he was a great troll, methodically always stood in character and sounded perfectly believable. iirc he only got caught after years of perfect trolling because he eventually tripped over his own stories and ichibang found some inconsistencies in other social media, possibly wired the guy's house or contracted an international investigative firm. anyway I miss Payak.

Payak/NidNoi/Celestial Kid/Brock.

you think the most recent guys are the same Payak from earlier? didn't look like that to me. Brock was priceless too. The NidNoi/Celestial Kid type was pure childish, I would be very disappointed with Payak if his trolling really descended like that.

No, those are just the troll accounts i can remember. I don't think they are behind any of the recent troll accounts (or whatever they are). Also, i'm pretty sure @thunder and fury is not a troll. He behaved well lately lol. Good job and welcome to the forum!
